Only pro is the convenient location, other than that it was a big mistake.

Picked up a car that looked like it had just come back from a music festival. Smelled like someone had chain-smoked through a road trip and then returned it without a second thought. Nice.

Staff were friendly enough, but completely clueless about their own policies. Asked a few basic questions and got the kind of confused looks you usually see when someone realises they’ve put petrol in a diesel.

Choice of cars? Let’s just say I’ve seen more variety in a pack of instant noodles.

Judging by the reviews, my experience was nothing special, just their usual level of “meh.” Reliable? Only if you’re reliably disappointed.

Would I use them again? Only if I’m desperate. And even then, I’d think twice. There are much better alternatives out there.

I rented a van a couple of days ago from the Macclesfield branch and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received. Tom (the branch manager) was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure I had all the details I needed. His clear explanations, professionalism, and friendly approach made the whole process seamless and stress-free. It’s rare to come across such outstanding customer service, and Tom truly set a high standard. 30 days after returning a car for which I had confirmed that there was no damage on handover.
I was presented with a letter demanding I pay for damaging a tyre. Had to chase them to wave it off. The store was of no help at all.
The head office helped clear it after they realised it was the stores fault.

I recently rented a car from Enterprise Macclesfield.
had a fantastic experience, thanks in large part to the exceptional customer service provided by Luca. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and made the entire rental process quick and easy.

Luca was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicles available. He took the time to help me find the perfect car for my needs and answered all my questions with patience and professionalism. It was evident that he genuinely cares about his customers and wants to ensure they have a great experience.

The car itself was in excellent condition, and the return process was just as seamless. I truly appreciate the level of service I received and would highly recommend renting from Enterprise, especially if you have the chance to work with Luca. What can I say.. This company is a ran as a joke I booked a van to help a oap neighbour drive overseas to deliver her furniture to her new home and 2 hours before I was due to collect the van the manager called me to say that they are cancelling my booking. I explained to him that I have booked all of my outher travel expenses ie. Euro tunnel Hotels and the ferry's.
All he kept saying was it's not his fault and blaming head office. I first made the enquiry and then booked the van 5 days before since then i booked and payed all of the outher travel expenses. The manager didn't do anything to help sort out this mess he had created.
There was no offer of any compensation for my loss of £500 upwards that I have paid out on travel all he replied was no there is nothing he could do and just yet another empty apology. I don't know who is to blame for this problem as I don't trust enterprise I will never use them again or recommend then to anyone.
