What would have been a 1 star review turned into a 4 star review because of Sophie at Bootle Enterprise.

There was an issue with the vans, slightly delaying our moving day, but Sophie went over and above to rectify it… ALONE!

She was incredible and does not get paid enough, for sure!

Stay clear. Awful customer service by Manchester Airport branch. Will charge you for damage not caused by you and not pointed out to you when the vehicle is returned. When asking for details - silence! I’ll update this review IF they ever come back to me.

UPDATE 14 January 2025. During the hire of this vehicle the key failed - twice. Had to access the car via the manual key which then set off the alarm. To cut along story short, police called. The Bootle branch offered a 50% refund on the 31st December - they hadn’t called me back when I left a message on their answer machine etc. despite this being out in writing the refund has not yet been made. Have to say the manager of this branch appears to be very customer focused, although the delay in the refund is not acceptable.

However on the same day the Manchester Airport branch managed to take another £1500 on top of the £500 deposit already paid. Amazing how one transaction can be done the same day but the other still not processed 2 weeks later.

Still not heard from the Manchester branch or the claims part of Enterprise. Nor have I heard from their team that looks after feedback, despite an automatic promise (when I pressed submit on the feedback form) that somebody would call within a couple of days - about 10 days ago.

Now written to company secretary.

This has all the signs of a scam company. Taking money and then ignoring all communication. No transparency - I have still not had sight of the so called damage or even been told what it is by Manchester.

Again I’ll keep updating this as time goes on.

I have hired 2 vans from Enterprise Rimrose Road Bootle and would highly recommend the staff in this branch.

The first van was a Lwb Transit and Louis dealt with that hire. He was very professional and the customer service was amazing he went above and beyond.

The second van hire was a tail lift. I had booked and paid for it 10 days in advance, but i got a call at 12:50pm (just before closing time) from the Speke branch on the Saturday (2 days before I was due to pick the van up) to advise that there will be no van at 8 am on Monday morning saying all branches have no available vans of all descriptions but might have one after 12 noon but it could be 2pm.

Therefore, I ended up finding last minute availability at Enterprise Bootle. Elliot dealt with my booking and he went above and beyond to get me the tail lift van by 9:30am Monday morning. He even sourced the van from Leigh in Manchester, brought it back to Rimrose Road, Bootle Liverpool and had it prepped and ready to go for me. He kept me well informed of progress and rang me as soon as it was ready.

Fantastic customer service, Elliot went above and beyond. Great service, great customer care and aftercare.

I will not book with any other branch or go anywhere else for van hire. All the Bootle Enterprise staff have been great and I would recommend anyone wanting to hire any vehicles to head over to this branch as their customer service is outstanding. Thank you very much.

Fantastic customer service from the Bootle Enterprise branch. We hired a van to move a large sofa and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Enterprise Bootle, Liverpool. I would highly recommend this branch for all your van hire needs. The vans are immaculate and I would state you are in professional hands. The hire handover was perfect and the return was just as smooth.
