Fabulous boat and crew. We booked the whole boat for a bereavement group trip away and we were not disappointed. The food, staff, cabins and day trips were all wonderful. I highly recommend this cruise and will definitely go again sometime 😁

This was a fabulous holiday. I went with a great group of ladies (and one man) and we couldn't have been looked after any better by the wonderful crew. They were all so friendly and fun. Conrad even called the bingo numbers for us 😄. Everything in the brochure is true. The cabins are comfortable, the drinks were plentiful and a good quality and the food was exceptional.

We were looking for a trip to enjoy the beauty of the Severn River and Gloucester area . This trip had been a long time coming and it was worth the wait. The staff of English Holiday Cruises both onboard and off were amazing. The passengers on our trip the first week of July 2024 - were a great bunch. The day tours of Worcester Cathedral, Morgan Factory, Gloucester's Fox Kiln Distillery - with Gin tasting and Slimbridge Wetland Centre were done well. This cruise had a bit of everything, great views, crew, food and company! Highly recommend to locals, Americans and everyone interested in enjoying this magnificent area!

One again, 4th year running, had a wonderful week on the Edward Elgar. Never get tired of this cruise/tour…will definitely be booking again next year. Staff exceptionally efficient and friendly. Comfortable clean cabins. Excellent food. Great fun playing quoits on the top deck
(I won !). All excursions by mini bus from boat to and from venue. Can’t speak highly enough of the crew and the help and advice given by the office when booking or answering any queries. I can highly recommend English Holiday Cruises to anyone considering this cruise.

Everything about the experience was fantastic!
Rooms were small (understandably!) but were more than comfortable and very well equipped. The saloon, bar and decks were impeccably kept. Bar very well stocked and reasonably priced.
Food was amazing! Fresh produce was cooked daily by the very talented Miles. Drinks were included at meal times and topped up regularly!
And the staff.... They worked so hard and did a terrific job from booking to disembarking.
I really cannot recommend this company enough - I look forward to my next excursion with them 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Really nice weekend break. Gloucester Dock overnight Friday. Saturday sailed down canal to Slimbridge. Taxi supplied to venue Included entrance to Slimbridge.
Very nice couple of hours. Last trip of the season. All crew were helpful and polite.

We've recently returned from the Heritage Cruise on the MV Edward Elgar which we really enjoyed - exceeding our expectations. The cruise was lovely and tranquil interspersed with some interesting places to visit, the boat was comfortable, the food was good and the wine plentiful. Captain Louis and his welcoming and professional crew looked after us very well and managed to maintain high standards in spite of an awful accident away from the boat that left us without our chef. Managing Director Jay stepped in and amazed us with his culinary skills. Thank you all. We would thoroughly recommend a trip on the MV Edward Elgar.
