Do not waste your time or money. Tried to cancel my policy as they were charging me 3 times as much as anyone else! They wanted £3000 for the year when the same level was available for under £1000 from multiple providers. Was referred to their sister company who would try to beat the price and told everything would be sortedwith my cancellation. I am now being chased by a finance company who are telling me my permium hasn't been paid. I rang Endsleigh and they told me I never completed my cancellation... Told them I needed everything fully cancelled as I thought it had been and was told I need to pay them an extra £170 as well as the previous month's premium! And both to be paid within 48 hours... Absolutely disgusting customer service. I have told all my friends and family to stay away.

If I could give them a 0 star review I would. Tried cancelling my auto-renewal back in 2019, I was under the impression it was cancelled... turns out they never processed the cancellation and I get hit with a £270 debt bill two years later. Unprofessional customer service who would rather argue than talk about resolutions. Anyone considering Endsleigh should seriously look elsewhere. Diabolical.

1st notice of a renewal was on the day - I have no recollection to agreeing to an automatic renewal. Locked out my account when trying to access to check this - locked out because they changed systems, not because of forgetting a password. Unable to find a contact number on their website (via mobile). Ended up cancelling DD as I couldn't reach them. When I finally did get them it was outwith my cancellation period and I got hit with a cancellation fee. Still don't have access to my account to check if I agreed for an auto renewal.

terrible company and customer service. make it impossible for you to cancel your policy with them with hour long waits on phone calls and beein passed though to at least 5 people before you get the person you are looking for!! Very disappointed.

I got an email about an auto renewal? they said i could login to access the documents and i couldn't even see them and was locked out of the account. Their emails look like spam.

Don't care about their customers and made the whole experience very fustrating for me!!!!

I would give a zero rating if I could. Endsleigh are one of the worst insurers I've had the displeasure of using.

12 months after ending a policy, they're trying to say I owe them nearly £1600 on a car that no longer exists (I had it crushed after it failed its MOT).

I cancelled the insurance, paid the fees neccessary and they've randomly sent an outstanding balance to creditors.

A bunch of negative experiences. But nothing too costly.

They refuse most claims for reasons unbeknown to legislature.

They hire very poor contractors and external emergency claim personnel. Quite costly in comparison.

They find many excuses to why not to pay out your emergency claim.

Staff members are quite subjective in their analysis of claims. It seems like its every man/woman for themselves!

On their policy it clearly states, they will pay out if the general functioning of the house is compromised. This is not true, they don't pay out if drains are blocked. And its in their interest for you to find your own contractor when something serious happens.

The engineers they send out are under qualified and not friendly. One engineer actually caused a repeat problem twice!

Customer service is hit and miss, some are nice, some are absolute devil's.

OK: so they paid out one claim for me, of £308/£324. But it took several months and about 10 hrs of mind numbing calls.

Not an easy company to deal with.

There's is no way to cancel a renewal without spending time on the telephone. The renewal was four times as much as the original price I paid yet they still tried to negotiate while trying to cancel.

I have called to simply change the address on my policy and have been re quoted almost £80 more than my current policy. I have recently renewed my policy on the 18th of June and don't expect to have to pay again to simply update the address on my policy.
When I called to renew the policy on the 18th of June I made them aware that I was moving to a new premises and was lied to and told that I just need to call and they would update the address on the day, no mention of being re quoted or charged any more. Due to this I am now left with a totally useless policy on an address I no longer live at.
Also they aren't very competitive price wise and I'm sure you will be able to find a better price elsewhere.
Appalling service please please avoid at all costs
