The library is a special place to me, it is very interesting, the selection of books and magazines is great, my wife is the bookworm, I enjoy the magazines and the museum. It's disabeled friendly. There is a nice coffee shop inside right by the library entrance. There is a lift and a staircase that's inside the library so it's easy to go to the next level and the museum. There is a really nice children's library section, our grandchildren love it. There are computers, e-books, large print books. The staff are exceptional. Go there, treat yourself. There is a charity box near the lift, please contribute, pennies add up to pounds, support the cause the library chooses for the good of us and our children and grandchildren. Have a lovely Christmas 🎄 and a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous 2024. Regards, Arnold Aarons.

Very well appointed library. Apart from books you can borrow tablets, use computers. But the highlight is a free mini museum of the local area. The exhibit that was on when I went was The Tube Line That Never Was.

Lovely friendly staff in a cute little local museum above the library. Exhibits are refreshed every 6 months and it was quite interesting - especially as it's all done by volunteers. I'll say again, lovely friendly staff!

A small bit wonderful museum filled with helpful and knowledgeable staff. The current exhibit on the Northern line extension that never happened was captivating and I'll be certain to return for future exhibits.

I went to see the model railway depicting the pre war northern line extension which despite being under construction pre war was abandoned in 1950's as the money ran out, the green belt was created and the expansion into suburbia was curtailed. The museum also looks at the heyday of the Elstree film studios. A lovely little museum run by people who care about their hobby and are happy to share their knowledge and experience..I will go again and hope to find out more about the area.
