This is no longer a hotel. It is being made into apartments. That was the reason for visiting. The building is stunning, and the apartments look amazing. Although they are not finished, you can see where the apartments will be, the views etc. Get’s a big thumbs up from me.

Is it the most feature-rich hotel in the world? No. |Is it perfectly adequate for a night or two if you need a place to sleep? Absolutely. There’s a supermarket for everything you need, two minutes walk away on the same side of the street; a lovely little restaurant five minutes walk in the opposite direction for good food; the staff, receptionists and cleaners both, were wonderfully friendly and cheery, always taking the time to share a friendly word; and while there’s a road a short distance away, cars are barely audible from your room. ||Coffee and tea, and bottled water are provided. The bed is large and firm, but still comfy. Didn’t have time to try out the shower as I overslept and had to rush to get ready for checkout.||I would rate this very good at being exactly what it’s supposed to be; nothing more, nothing less.

The room was quite space and very clean. It was initially really hot in the room but was provided with a table fan which was really helpful. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating - showing us to our rooms on arrival and showing how things worked on the room. My visit was a short stay only to sleep and was out majority of the day, so it filled our needs for the time. Reasonably priced for 2 nights also. The bed was very comfortable.

If there was anything negative about our stay then this is not the time to be saying it (but there wasn't).
Me and the wife wanted to get away for a long weekend for our anniversary. We have stayed here a couple of times in the past and enjoyed each time.
This time was a bit different for obvious reasons and everyone is trying to recover and get back on their feet. The team at the hotel were no different so it is only fair to review our stay with an understanding of the immense challenges they are battling through.
The room as always was very nice, clean and spacious. There was no breakfast being served due to the logistics which was disappointing but again not something the hotel could do anything about. The evening meal menu was limited but the quality was good.
Staff was minimal as the guest numbers were still very low but the staff we did speak to were very nice, polite and helpful.

We are here at the moment for one night only. We found this hotel in need of a very much needed update, the disabled shower room has lots of black near the bottom of the walls and needs painting and the bedspread has lots of dirty marks on. There is no air conditioning but we do have a very small electric fan that doesn't do much good at all, if we did want to make a cup of tea, you can't get enough water in it from the top, needs a smaller kettle. The chairs look like they have seen better days and look like they need a good clean. Will wait to see what the breakfast is like in the morning, but at the moment I couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, when we come down again, will look for somewhere else to stay

No one bothered you at the hotel. We were in a disability room and it flooded every time we had a shower. We had to call reception to come and mop up. The floor needs sorting to make water run down drain properly . Kettle too big to fill at tiny sink. Need smaller kettle.. We had lovely meal, steak and chips was devine. Just get that room sorted and all will be great

Hotel was clean, staff are friendly. Room size was fine for 1 person for a few night, however there was no A/C just a very small desk fan which made no difference at all. Evening meal wise the portions are very small, I only ate in the hotel one night as I came away still hungry. Generally a nice hotel but needs to change a few extra things.
