Fiona was such an engaging and lovely tour guide! We booked this tour last minute for Edinburgh castle and couldn’t be happier we did. It is the best way to see the castle.

One of the best tours we’ve ever been on! Our tour guide John was so knowledgeable and passionate about Edinburgh, Scottish history and the castle. He was friendly and had great tips for exploring both the castle and the city after the tour ended. This tour was super reasonably priced and one of the few I found that included walking tour AND castle admission—honestly we would’ve paid more .

We had a bit of trouble finding the David Hume statue & tour group due to our own fault of not budgeting enough time to get there on a crowded morning with a random (unanticipated by us) parade that we had to walk around. We texted John on WhatsApp and even though he was actively giving the tour and could’ve easily ignored, he went above and beyond to respond and help us find the group before they went inside the castle. Truly could not recommend this tour & tour guide more!

What a great day! Fiona and EDI was excellent. We learned so much about the history of Edinburgh castle and landmarks but the history of Scotland in general and more. Passionate, entertaining, enthusiastic, educated, and personable. I would highly recommend EDI tours and Fiona. Such a great experience. Thank you

Really enjoyed the castle tour with Fiona aka princess Fiona 🙂 she was so much fun to learn from with her knowledge about the area, she felt like a friend showing us a round rather than a paid tour that just spits out facts. I definitely want to use this company again for the other tours they provide

Despite the cold weather, Sonya kept us in good spirits with her warm wits and informative banter on the history and legends of Edinburgh Castle. An enjoyable walk and expert advice on how to best enjoy the parts of the castle open to individuals but not tour groups. Recommended if you enjoy history.
