If you love horses, you'll love visiting the gentle giants at Dyfed Shire Horse Farm. The horses and other animals onsite were so gentle and just a delight to see. All the staff that we spoke to were lovely and very knowledgeable. Would certainly go back, next time we're in the area.

Had some lunch in the cafe area, which was very tasty.

I loved seeing all the horses and the baby donkey. It does need money invested into the farm facilities very dated and tired. Shop needs more local items to buy. Food was basic but hot. Staff helpful and knowledgeable.

This was so much more than expected. The horses are so beautiful and placid. The farm owners are passionate about the horses and so so kind and generous. The non equine animals are also delightful, especially scamp, the most adorable 3-legged dog you'll ever meet

We had the most amazing day out here. The staff are lovely and made our day really special. We loved that it wasn’t a commercialised farm. The tractor ride, quad bike ride and carriage ride were amazing and it was great value for money. We can’t wait to return. We have done a full review on our TikTok : @travelswithkg

Just returned from a overnight stay here.
Plus point the people are extremely friendly and have a good understanding and knowledge of the business and horses.
The not so good points. To put it bluntly the place is run down and I would expect 1 accident away from being shut down. This place could be a treasure but alas you can see that there has been no investment for a good few years. Hope to return one day in the future after investment.

Some lovely animals and staff were all very nice. Went a couple of weeks ago. Only open one day a week at the time of going. Nobody to great upon entry and had to seek out someone to buy tickets from. Activities were not on time to the schedule, and the whole place looks tired and old (the kiddy race track and crazy golf especially are awful!). Café was decent with OK food but excellent service. The whole experience was flawed, a mess, chaotic, but absolutely brilliant, and I'd do it again in an instant. The kids (aged 2 and 4) loved it.

We loved this campsite. Booked last minute as had a wedding venue to see the following day.

Arrived very friendly and set up. The facilities if you have children are fantastic.

2 well kept play parks with a range of facilities, an indoor sand pit, pedal go kart track, mini golf, field and nature trails to explore.

The farm is open for you to wander and see the animals donkeys, cows, sheep and llamas.

Lots of shire horses beautifully kept and they also do a talk about the history of the shire horses and offer horse and cart rides. We were also given a quad bike ride around the farm.

A lovely little cafe that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. They also have an alcohol license, soft play and gift shop. The shop sells essential camping items too such as disposable bbq etc...

The owners are really easy to talk too and also live on site so any problems or questions they are on hand.

Loved it and have rebooked for bank holiday

Situated on a working farm, lovely clean site with EHU with a nice play area for the kids and a small Musium of old farm memorabilia and an inside play area for the kids, although nothing was open when we was there I would think it's a great little place for families and with the right weather. Toilet/shower blocks could do with updating as they are a bit grubby!! But it is a working farm at the end of the day! There is a little cafe and shop on site open at certain times, The owner was great and he couldn't do enough for you, The only thing for us was it's only 10amp on site.
