Highly recommend this cafe. We visited this on our way to Isles of sky from Inverness. Very picturesque location. There is a small pond with a few tables arranged pond-side. A cute play area for kids.
More importantly it's run by a rewilding center, who are doing a great job of preserving the wilderness.
There is a waterfall 10 min walk away, we didn't visit because of our tight schedule.
All in all, a great welcome break.

What a beautiful and welcoming place to visit. You can do several different walks through the rewildered woods, eat and drink something in the cafe and also learn why rewildering is such an important thing. Highly recommended!

Great rewilding place - so good to see nature growing as it should/could rather than the denuded landscapes we are told are โ€˜naturalโ€™ - we are not fooled!!
Good exhibits and info, although it would help to have signs to start of walks, history of the site and info available about the trees for sale.
Cafe was great - date n chic slice was magnifique!
The walks themselves are stunning - how lovely to walk through a juniper forest ( especially as we have planted many!) and the mature birches are amazing ( again had questions about them but?) the whole hillside was a joy to walk around, so many birds, butterflies and mayfliesโ€ฆ.lush!
