Lovely country park with some shorter walks around the loch or longer walks of you want to incorporate the woodland or other sections of the seven lochs area. There are two playparks, one designed for smaller children and a larger wooden fort with rope swings, climbing frames and flying fox for older children. Great place to walk, run or cycle and the park is really well kept with lots of wildlife. Also a cafe with access to toilets when open. Car park can become very crowded on sunny weekends.

Where do I start? Loads of parking, absulity stunning views, very tidy and clean, beautiful swans and timing was perfect to see the sunset over the water. So many different walking routes around the Loch through the woods and what looked like a really cool play park. Certainly be taking grand daughters there in the summer holidays. Also noticed as I was walking back to my car with my dog that the cafe has an entrance for dogs 🐕😁. 100 % recommend this place to any one. Have fun!

Beautiful park with an excellent walk around the pond. The grounds are well kept and it's restaurant and facilities are handy with lots of seating areas and great views. Parking can be tricky when it's really busy but that's to be expected when it's good weather

This is a beautiful loch in all weather. It's got a great 1mile circuit that is completely flat (great for those with mobility issues) and plenty of benches along the way. Beautiful loch, well kept, swans and ducks, other wildlife, a beautiful peace garden halfway around the loch and plenty of grass area to sunbathe or play ball games etc. It has some gorgeous sunsets and is just so lovely to get into nature if you are stuck in the city or residential area and want a break that is close by. They have toilets and a cafe. Dog friendly. Usually an ice cream truck is there nearly all year round.

Great day out with the grandkids. Has swings and baby swings, a good play area for kids with a fort like structure made of wood which included rope bridges etc suitable from age 4. If accompanied by an adult it's possible for younger children too

Lovely big park, but SO muddy! Dogs were filthy after running around the grass. Couldn't believe they didn't have a disabled toilet available after the others were closed at 5pm! I have a key, but no toilet available. Nightmare!
Pleasant to walk around the park, plenty of resting places. Ice cream van was a welcome touch!

A beautiful country park, right on my doorstep! Excellent walks, so whether you want just to walk around Lochend Loch (1 mile circular easy walk) or choose the many alternatives with your dog, you won't be disappointed. There is also a café, so you can finish your walk with coffee and cake or a light meal. There are child friendly play areas and picnic benches to just sit and enjoy the scenery.
