Do not use this company to hire a car!!!

The cars are dangerous

I will upload photos to show proof

I hired The Car for four days and had to return three times

Upon this third visit, it’s clear they’ve given me a car which is not been serviced

On the day I took the car I had to return from them to do the pressure of the tires

I then had to return one hour later for them to put some blue liquid in it. I don’t know what that is but also they told me it’s not my responsibility

And again today, The Car is telling me that one of the car tire pressure is reading 170 kpa

I got through to a /customer service and the guy was rude to

Just look at the photos is that right? They should give me a car with the tire pressure keeps

Excellent. Car/Van hire is usually painful & comes with added stress & hidden extras. Not this time. Location is good, easy to find & park etc.
Van was ready at 07:30, good condition, no long conversations about excesses etc.
Same on return.
And their daily rates were way better than any others.
I've booked another one for the end of June, highly recommend.

This place is GREAT! I made a reservation in the USA but canceled it because I was able to re-book when I arrived in the UK and get a better price. I was happy with that "better" price, but the wonderful, helpful lady working there managed to get the price even lower! The car was perfect for what we needed. The service at the Basildon branch in Rayleigh was wonderful. We will definitely rent from here again. Service, value, and attitude were all stellar. Thanks for an easy and enjoyable experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend!

Hired a van for the weekend at a very competitive price, and the service was outstanding. Sarah and Barry were amazing—super friendly, professional, and incredibly flexible with our timing needs. Everything was smooth from start to finish. Would definitely recommend Drivalia to anyone needing a reliable van or car hire service. Will be using them again in the future!

Don't normally post reviews, you expect good service because that's one of the reason you purchase from a certain retailer.
But I've got to say the staff at Basildon Dravilla are the most helpful team anywhere, I've used them probably 4 or 5 times so far and have another booking in 3 weeks time, never had any issues with the cars, and as stated the team are so friendly and helpful, can't recommend them enough.. 5 stars 👍

I needed a car for the Easter weekend as mine was in for repair and was told by the garage late Wednesday evening that it was very unlikely to be ready.

I took a chance on Thursday to rent a car from Drivalia. I needed an SUV to transport my family and our belongings for a long trip across country and luckily there was only one left - a Peugeot 3008.

Barry was a pleasure to deal with and got the hire sorted for me quickly. In a rush I had accidentally left my wallet and licence at home but that wasn't a problem as they were fine with a photo via email. I was originally heading to Enterprise so Barry compared the price and beat it.

I returned the car on the agreed date and popped the keys through the letterbox as I was arriving after opening hours.

The entire process was a breeze and took away the stress I had going on. Barry was excellent and I would absolutely go back should I need a rental car in the future.

I’d never used a car hire service before, and was a little anxious that the car issued to me would be tatty and old. I was pleasantly surprised that the Renault Clio I was allotted was brand new. I was the first person to hire it! It was an EV, something that I’d never driven before, but I was talked through the dashboard and the gadgets. I was sent a comprehensive bunch of photos of the condition of the exterior of the car, the mileage, photos of the interior too. Also, the car had just been washed when I collected it, which is a nice touch. When I compare the cost of this hire using my American drivers license, to purchasing three weeks of insurance on my mother’s car for the same time period, there is very little difference in cost. The only minor hiccup was the location of the hire place when I received a confirmation e-mail. It says Basildon on the website, but the office address is actually in Rayleigh. I am fortunate that my brother lives in Hullbridge and knew the location. Very pleasant people to deal with. I’ll definitely be a returning customer.

Hired online, arrived at office and was met by Sarah. Really friendly and efficient service and she explained all the t&c's & showed me round the car. Perfect, thank you, will definitely hire again.
