What a simple idea! Take two industrial units, make one a small brewery and the other a tap bar - and bingo! Open it up a couple of evenings a week inviting guest caterers in and you have a winner!

I'm new to the area and have mobility issues but i am more than happy to stay local. I realised that the brewery delivered and had to try. so far I am particularly fond of the honey blonde. I have always been a person enjoying most of the drinks in a wetherspoons. Downton brewery has changed all that. there is nothing better for me now than sitting in my garden watching the sun fade with a gorgeous bottle in my hand with downton on it., my thoughts,? try the honey blonde. it glides down like a cup of tea. its as sweet as your first kiss and unlike most blondes you are garaunteed a happy ending without a hidden agenda., thanks DB and the Team.

We were in Downton for the weekend and called in for Firsty Friday. For a freezing cold night it was really busy sampled a few beers and they were all good. Great little Brewery good to see it well supported. Just one thing a bit of signage would be good to save wandering around the industrial estate in the dark.
