I had a free consultation with Jenny which was full of promises and advice on which visa pathway would be best for myself. After pointing me in the direction for a points based visa, she recommended me to sit an English test to gain the extra points needed.

I chose to sit the English test with Pearsons PTE using the DUC’s discount code provided. However, on test day I was declined entry after showing my U.K. passport. The reason for their refusal was due to myself having middle names which they did not know about. Resulting in no reschedule and no refund. Pretty steep when the fee was £200+

I was given a phone number to call, which upon calling I was informed it was the wrong number.

After this experience I wanted to let Jenny know about the issue, not expecting her to fix it but just to be aware and prevent it from happening to others. But I’m afraid her response was not taken the way I had intended and instead she blamed me for not filling in the forms correctly.

Overall, I’m disappointed in the lack of empathy.

She was honest and told me other avenues I could go through as well as her recommendation.
