We did a Cliff and Castles Tour on 19 SEP2024 and had a wonderful time. The knowledge that Steve has about the history of the area was told in a way that was fun and interesting. Our group of 4 had a great and memorable day, mostly thanks to Steve. It was never boring, he knows the best spots for pictures and lunch! You can’t go wrong with having Steve along for the day, you will get a lot more out of it than with a big tour group.

Stephen was a rock star! We highly reccomend him. He knew Dover like the back of his hand, and we were totally blown away with our day, my daughter said it was the best part of our trip. The sound mirror, cliffs, and the castle were awesome and there is no way we would have been able to see, do, and enjoy so much in a day without him.

The Battle of Britain memorial was a powerful addition to the tour. Stephen’s insight into the historical context made the memorial, and everything else, even more impactful.
Try to get lunch or peanuts and beer at "The Coast Guard” in St Margeret’s Bay, the view is amazing.

We arrived from London by train and met Stephen at the Canterbury West train station. From there, we walked the old walls of Canterbury, toured the cathedral and walked the town for a little bit. We then headed to Dover for a wonderful walk along the white cliffs of Dover. After our walk, we grabbed lunch at a beautiful pub by the water. A short visit to the local Battle of Britian museum and it was time to board a train back to London. The day was perfect and Stephen was an exceptional tour guide, customizing the activities for the interests of our group and guiding the day to avoid rain.

I highly recommend contacting Dover Tours if you are interested in seeing some of the sights in Kent from a knowledgeable, personable and professional local.

My husband found Stephen Moon online and ...Stephen was frankly the perfect guide for a discovery day in Dover. He picked us up at the train station then drove us around all day to the must-see sites such as the stunning 1200 fortified castle and of course the gorgeous white cliffs walk. Stephen, born in Dover, shares his love of the city and area showing his favorite spots and explaining the history without pretending to be a pro historian. He left us free to roam castle or cliffs at our pace and was ultra nice and knowledgeable at all times.

We recently toured Canterbury and Dover with Stephen and had a wonderful time doing so. Stephen carefully listens to what you'd like to do and makes accommodations if/as necessary (as it was for us because we had a bad ankle among us!) Steve was amazing! From the secret parking spot on the cliffs of Dover to truly engaging conversation during the drives. His vast knowledge of the area really came through with every spot and the way the day was structured. He ensured we had as much time as needed in each place and accounted for minimal walking with our junior tourist. His advice in terms of food was given after considering our dietary restrictions as well, which was superb.
