Such an easy experience. Drive in to the old station, met at the car by really friendly and helpful staff. So many porters to help with the luggage and a 2 minute walk onto the ship.
The same friendly staff remembered us on our return.
I wish every cruise I go on went from Dover.

More than 100%. Absolutely brilliant service from very friendly and experienced staff. As a more mature traveller, I was delighted to find myself amongst many others with obviously similar life experience and sense of humour! The younger staff were obviously also picking up good communication skills, sometimes lacking these days ?. As an ex-serviceman, I was deeply affected by the agonisingly beautiful memorial to the Fallen of both wars.

Pretty easy to get through but not very walkable from town. Kinda seemed like it was mostly closed down and unused. The workers were friendly, though.

My family and I went on Christmas Eve to Christmas Wonderland. A great way to spend a fantastic family time together. Had fun on the ice rink and amusements. Good choices for something to eat and drink. Free parking and no entry fee, happy days. Some selection of stalls all in a beautiful old building a former marine station. Well worth a visit and would recommend.
