Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely quiet campsite. Huge fully serviced pitches. Small shop on site which sells basics. Facilities were clean and tidy no matter what time of day we used them. 10-15 minute walk into Freckleton which has plenty of pubs and places to eat. Also really handy for catching the bus into Lytham or Blackpool from the centre of Freckleton. |We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back

We found Donkey Creek Farm when we needed a last-minute stopover, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. We called on short notice and were looked after straight away. From the moment we arrived, we were given such a warm and friendly welcome. The staff were all genuinely lovely, and the facilities were spotless—the toilets and showers were fantastic. The site itself was amazing—so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. No screaming kids, which was a real bonus after a noisy stay at another site! We couldn’t have asked for more. Definitely recommend and would happily return!

Brilliant site, Paul and Angela (wardens) are very welcoming, friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Clean facilities and well maintained site, disabled facilities are spotless. Pitches are huge! Plenty of space for van, car and awning. Laundry, pot washing area also gleaming. This is our 5th visit over a 12 month period and we are already planning our next stay. Small children’s playground so children can be kept busy. Owner and his family are also friendly and professional in their approach and it’s obvious they have worked very hard to get the site up to a high standard. Lots to do/see locally or very relaxing if you decide to stay on site. Dogs very welcome and even have their own field. Hope to return in near future, thank you to all staff at Donkey Creek for making us feel very welcome.

Liked: Nice, tidy site with good clean facilities, in a convenient location with locals shops nearby. Everything was as described but we have travelled for 7 months now non-stop both at home and abroad and this was the most expensive site we've stayed on, including some which had extensive facilities such as swimming pools, cafes, restaurants and even entertainment (if that's your thing). It's definitely a good option to stay in Lancashire, but I just felt it was expensive in comparison.

Disliked: Not a dislike as such, but you need not only a good supply of coins for the launderette, but it has to be a certain combo, including a two-pound coin, which even the local convenience store didn't have, necessitating a further walk to get the right denominations.

Also, the shop looked to be small but well- stocked but there are no published opening hours, which would be useful to know, especially if you want said coins for the laundry......

Liked: Enough space for the caravan, awning & 2 vehicles.
Spotless washroom, shower & pot cleaning areas.
Clean & quiet site with exception of the odd fighter jet on the adjacent property which we was aware of beforehand. It was very neat to see. The warden made his rounds frequently.

Disliked: This caravan park is part of a farm, however I do wonder about the decision to put a chicken coop in the dog field. Whilst it is enclosed just having the chickens in sight does engage the hunter traits in some dogs. We couldn't let one of our dogs off the lead as he always ran to the coop & bark at the chickens. This situation is not fair to the chickens nor the dog.

Liked: The facilities were spotless and modern, there is a great dog field, I loved seeing the planes from the air field next door. Nice and quiet, friendly owners. Large pitches. Very well kept. Walking distance to pubs in Freckleton. Loved everything thank you!

Liked: Quiet, nicely laid out site and well cared for. Good facilities, warm and very clean. Good complimentary WiFi and great TV signal. Great sized pitch with excellent water supply and drainage.

Disliked: Only one toilet cubicle in the gents room and washing machine was broken.

The room is your own caravan, camper, motorhome or roof tent. Ours is excellent so 5 stars.

The site is very well laid out, clean and well maintained. All pitches around us have water, electric and waste. The amenities are clean and well kept.

If you like aeroplanes you will not be able to beat this site anywhere else in the UK.
