Junior Open Water: I did it thanks to Diveworld!

I recently completed my Junior Open Water and Dry Suit certifications with Diveworld. The whole team is brilliant. During the course I worked with Louise, Dave and Richard, with Paul and Chris supporting me 1:1 on some of my dives. Everybody at Diveworld is so nice and helped me so much with my learning, especially when I felt a bit nervous.

I loved diving at Capernwray, it was so much fun to see the fish and the wrecks. All the instructors were patient, reassuring and encouraging. They really helped me to overcome my nerves through clear, kind and supportive instruction. I felt safe at all times and was confident in my ability to perform every skill and dive. The Diveworld team are super friendly and kind - they love everything scuba and their passion shines through in everything that they do. I am so happy and proud to have completed my Junior Open Water with Diveworld and can't wait to do more dives really soon.

As a freediving and mermaid instructor at Diveworld, I've had the privilege of experiencing firsthand the incredible work this center does, both in and out of the water. Diveworld isn't just about promoting underwater activities; it's about fostering a community and passion for the ocean.

I am immensely grateful for the experiences I've had with Diveworld and for the impact they continue to make on the diving community. Rescue Divers Course

Just spent a weekend at Capernwray with Diveworld taking the Padi Rescue Diver course and what a brilliant weekend we all had.

Receiving the training manual I had to take a deep breath as there was so much to learn from techniques to diver psychology, had I bitten off more than I could chew?

The answer is a straight no, why? Because Diveworld are with you every step of the way, wanting you to succeed on your scuba journey.

Steve and Lou always have time for you and nothing is rushed, everything is explained clearly helping you understand the material in turn building confidence in your own abilities which also makes you want to be part of the team.

At Capernwray Steve took the course but was assisted with Bradley as the Assistant Instructor along with the Dive Master Trainees Jack, Ellie and Brad. who looked after us 4 students from start to finish. Id like to say a big thank you to all of them too.

Everyone knows I cannot praise Diveworld enough to the point I may end up with a gagging order just to shut me up.

If you have ever thought about trying scuba diving but are a little nervous then this is the Dive centre you want to use. You will not regret it.

Steve, Louise and the team at DiveWorld were incredible. From the moment I got in touch, to the classroom and pool sessions to then the open water dives at Capernwray! They also did a refresher with my husband for his rescue diver and we can now dive togehrer. What an experience. Even though I was nervous at times Steve was amazing! He went through everything with me clearly. We also had Ellie and Brad who were amazing and great fun to dive with and really looked after our group. And wow just wow I can't believe I got to dive through a ship wreck and plane! I have so much to thank them for! They've definitely given me so much enthusiasm and built my confidence to dive more and more.

Fantastic diver training. I've just completed by Dry Suit, PPB and DSMB training with Diveworld. They really know their stuff and are really friendly and approachable. Felt really safe all weekend and had a great time. They really are an excellent training provider and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Today, we had a fantastic introduction to scuba diving by attending the Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) course at Stocksbridge with Diveworld. We had a wonderful time; our excellent instructor, Lee Hewitt, explained everything clearly, ensured we were safe and that we had a great time (we did). We’re keen to attend the Open Water Diving Course next! All the staff are friendly and eager to engage you, as are all the other divers on their courses. Thank you for a great experience, Diveworld!
