As we drove along through the magnificent scenery, Kenny regaled us with stories of the significance of each location in Scottish history. Battles, marriages, clans, Scottish and English nobility: he breathed life into the old legends. Kenny related how our own ancestors interacted with Scottish lore and took us to locations significant to us. It was a personal, private, and very special tour. We had a terrific day out with Damian, who was a wonderful guide and great company. Super knowledgeable, gracious, and indulgent of our particular needs - our group included a person who wasn't able to make some of the longer walks, and Damian took great care to ensure she was taken care of while the rest of us explored. We did a day-long Outlander tour which we were able to customize, and included a lovely lunch and some local shopping. I recommend both Damian and Discreet Scotland unreservedly, and enthusiastically!

Had a fantastic time on our tour of the Highlands and the Isle of Skye. Our guide was incredible. He gave us historical info as well as the folklore and tales that went along with each stop. He was flexible and customized it all as we went along, making stops that were unique and special. I can’t imagine that we ever could have put together an experience on our own that would have come close to what we just experienced. We are extremely pleased with our tour. We were very fortunate to have Damian be our guide to St. Andrew’s. He was prompt picking us up at our ship and made sure we arrived back with time to spare . He was knowledgeable of the area and made sure we enjoyed ourselves despite the cold rain! ☔️

Horrible cancellation policies. We had to cancel our entire Scotland trip due to a family emergency. I cancelled Discreet Scotland with 9 days notice and was told “too bad” they are keeping all of my money for 1 day tour of over 650 pounds. Other tour companies refunded us in full, as they understand things happen. There are many other companies in the area who don’t have such horrible policies. Be warned!

I cannot say enough good things about our tour with Discreet Scotland. My mom and I just finished a 7-day and had the time of our lives. I think all of their guides are wonderful but we were so happy to have been paired with Stevie. He had incredible knowledge of every single place we stopped at, or even drove by. Not to mention his wit, humor, and calm nature. My mom injured her knee before we left for our trip and he treated her with such care and kindness. He also had to deal with a sudden bank holiday due to the Queen’s funeral and he handled the last minute changes with no worry or frustration.

If you’re debating what tour company to use - don’t hesitate. Book today. You won’t regret it. Not only will you learn so much about Scotland’s history, you’ll get to sit back and relax and take in the breathtaking scenery. Go into it with a good attitude and be flexible (some things might be unexpectedly closed). If I ever am fortunate enough to return I’ll definitely be booking with Discreet Scotland.
