We did the black taxi tour. Hands down the best part of our trip to London! Ollie is not only super friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable—like, knew all the cool facts and hidden gems you’d never find on your own. Not to mention he is a pretty great photographer and you’ll get some awesome pictures along the trip. We got to see so many iconic sights up close and personal, and the whole experience felt really special. If you’re in London, this is a must-do! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore the city in a fun and unique way!

We booked the 6-hour tour for our first full day in London and it was the best decision! We were able to see the Changing of the Guard, recreate the Abbey road photo, and see special sights from Harry Potter, The Crown, Notting Hill....all the favorites! It was a great opportunity to get a lay of the land and know which areas we definitely wanted to go back and explore later in the week. Recommend booking at the beginning of your trip for this reason. Ollie and our tour guide Paul could not have been more kind and communicative. Five stars!

We went on this tour in late March and our driver was Gary, and it was the absolute best! My kids are 12 and 10 and my niece who’s 24 came along and every one of us said we loved it. He showed us a lot of cool hidden history, brought us to a great spot for lunch, and then even brought the kids to the graffiti bridge so they could try it out - he made us smile and laugh all day. When I asked my daughter the best part of our 10 days in England, she just said ‘Gary, of course!’ Thanks for making it so memorable! Highly recommend and great for kids, we did the 5 hour tour.

We did the Discover Real London tour today and absolutely loved it! John was an incredible guide and gave us an amazing day! He was informative, funny, easy to get on with and very accommodating. His picture taking skills were outstanding and his ability to share random facts that were both interesting and amusing was very entertaining. We had the added bonus of the Changing of the Guards and John got us the best viewing spot. If you are on the fence about doing the tour - commit - you won’t regret it!

We recently took a black cab tour in London with Ricky from "Discover Real London," and it was absolutely phenomenal! Ricky was not just a tour guide; he was like a family friend who made our trip truly special. It was also a fantastic experience booking with Ollie--I changed our plans numerous times (flight delays, etc.) and he was so gracious and accommodating.

Our tour was uniquely tailored around UK football stadiums, a theme we chose due to our love for the sport. Ricky's knowledge about football was impressive and added so much depth to the experience. He shared fascinating stories and facts about each stadium that we visited, making every stop interesting and informative.

In addition to the football stadiums, Ricky took us on a delightful stroll around Notting Hill. He seemed to know all the best local spots! He brought us to a fantastic donut shop that was a hit with the whole family, and an antique map store that was genuinely captivating. It was clear that Ricky had thoughtfully planned these stops, knowing they would be the perfect addition to our tour.

Ricky was incredibly kind and patient throughout the day, which made the tour relaxing and enjoyable. As a father of two himself, he was also very funny and engaging with our kids, keeping them entertained and involved in every part of the tour. This was a huge plus for us, as it kept the day fun and light-hearted.

Moreover, Ricky was extremely accommodating to our itinerary. He was flexible and attentive, ensuring that every part of the tour aligned with our interests and time constraints.

Overall, our experience with Ricky and "Discover Real London" was outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more perfectly customized tour. If you're looking for a memorable and personalized tour of London, especially if you're a football fan, we highly recommend booking with Ricky. You won’t be disappointed!

Neil K was a superb ambassador for my touchdown tour. He graciously accommodated my airline’s schedule changes. He was cheerful, yet not overtly so at a 6:30am start time. He deftly intuits what his charges are looking to get out of the tour. We bounced between architecture, history, trivia, politics, natural history, retail therapy and even psychology;). I think we quite possibly saw everything there is to see in London in a morning. He is just a really nice guy. Ask for Neil, and you will definitely start your journey off right!

My group, made up of five Americans, booked this gem of a tour nine months before our UK vacation, which was set to start in London. We were so excited when it was finally time for our tour, as we'd been waiting for it for so long. Ollie, our amazing tour guide, is very knowledgeable of where locations we were interested in seeing were, and with the history of each location. Our ride had the look of an iconic London black cab, which was part of the appeal when we booked our tour, but the ride we experienced was very modern on the inside. We five sat comfortably among the six available seats with the A/C on, while taking pictures of beautiful buildings, both old and newer, through the panoramic roof! Whether you want to do the original tour, or have some specifics in mind, Discover Real London is happy to make the most of your four hour experience. You'll also have many photo opportunities for your whole group to be in, so no one is left out of your forever memories. I'm already looking forward to my next Discover Real London experience!

The reviews are all correct— this is a Must Do tour! Our driver, Johnny, was fantastic!! We did the Discover London Tour and told Johnny which sites we’d already seen since our arrival. He made sure to edit those out and quickly added in some other places based on our interests. Johnny, born and raised in London, knew dozens of historical facts about the city and had several great anecdotes, both personal and about London. We saw centuries old buildings and recently famous sites (think Winston Churchill, Sam Wanamaker, Harry Potter, Taylor Swift). We will definitely recommend this tour to any friends who visit London; our deep appreciation to UK Travel Planning for their podcast on the Discover Real London tour (I highly recommend listening to it before you book).
