Kids absolutely love it here. All high ratings from them. Loads of educational stands, some interactive things to do, like jigsaws, dinosaur sounds, and fossil digging. After a visit around the museum, there is also an educational room upstairs just past the gift shop reception. In here there are puzzles, comfy teddy area, toys, colouring pages and more to all enjoy as a family which we found really good.

I can't say that the actual museum is large, it's a little smaller than expected. But with the amount of information and interactive things around to do make up for it. We spent a good hour and a half here. It's also fairly priced, too.

Really fun experience, it's quite a small museum but there's lot to see and the exhibits are really fun. A highlight was that the main exhibit had windows into a lab which really interesting to witness a behind the scenes process. Also really fab gift shop!

Lovely worksheet created to engage the kids. Really informative. A nice was to start the day before fossil hunting on the beach. A discount give on the carparking, Beautiful shop and 7 day return. Great value.

Amazing place to take the family
The car park was £6.00 per car it was a bit pricey but when u get back to your car if u get your parking ticket they will gone u a voucher for £2.50 off your next trip there

Visited on a cold wet Saturday morning in early February. Why is that relevant? Because the museum is basiclly inside a large metal building which is almost impossible to heat throughout. It can be cold! Leaving that to one side it is very interesting and I saw several family groups working their way through some of the worksheets that are available. All seemed fully engaged in the activity. I was very lucky to meet the Curator, Martin. As with anyone who is passionate about their subject he gave out information freely and enthusiastically. I had many outstanding gaps in my knowledge and one by one he joined the dots for me. It was wonderful! Thank you Martin and the rest of your staff.

Was expecting it to be much bigger (based on outside) than what was actually inside, but very informative museum and loads of little things to do around it for kids, such as puzzles, crayon scrub drawings of fossil rocks, you can control an electric dino (similar to what they used for jurrasic park)

Great place, staff are all very friendly and the exhibition was fantastic!
They have a lot more “actual” fossils on display than even the BIG museum which was great.
The thing I liked the most is that if you have something you think is a fossil or .. they have actual palaeontologists available and happy to advise you on the finds - we found a dinosaur bone 💥
Also I got to chat to them in the exhibition which was so great and they are all full of enthusiasm for the job 👍🏻
Definitely recommend to all dino lover old and young.
