Beautiful spot, steeped in the history of Slate mining in the area, Grade II listed and dating back to 1700's, very picturesque. Lovely little pub on the banks of the Marina, and some little benches to enjoy a drink.

Such a lovely, peaceful place. Makes for a nice relaxing visit as you gather your thoughts whilst looking at the delightful marina boats etc. There is a small café / toilets too. A very pleasant place. 🙂

Terrible experience. Phoned marina day before to book for one night in the outer marina, they give us a berth with no electric, no water and we had no toilet facilities. They told us this would be cheaper because of the lack of facilities.
We also had to walk over 1/2 mile to get to the marina office. We didn't mind this too much as we could put up with it for one night. However we're shocked when they charged £45 for my 9 mtr boat. I have never ever paid that anywhere even with all the facilities. I was disgusted and told them I thought it was not right. They however would not budge on the price this was the same price as as people with boats who had the facilities and the close proximity to the marina office and toilets.
I would say to Anyone visiting by boat to avoid the place go to carnarfon, Bangor anywhere but here.

Great to see not only the sailing facilities being well used but ongoing maintenance in action. Visited as sailing vessel Klevia arrived from France (Aug24).

It was a fabulous place to visit, which I found for the first time this year. It's a boat mooring site and dry storage with access to the sea through a locked canal. It was a cold, wet day, so I can't wait to visit when it's sunny later this year. It has a rabfe of pubs and coffee shops, so a great place to visit if you're in North West Wales.

Small but perfectly formed marina. Restaurant and and a separate hotel. Lovely for a little wander or to sitt with brew and watch the boats.

Loved this view of the marina...sitting outside with a cuppa and a cake watching the world go by ! Lovely for a stroll or a quick stop !
