I recently joined the whisky tour and found it to be the most comprehensive one I’ve experienced so far. The tour began with a well-made video that shared the history of the distillery, followed by an informative exhibition. We then had a guided walk through the entire distillery, which gave great insight into each stage of the whisky-making process. One unique part of the experience was the “altitude tasting” session, which helped identify the type of whisky that suited my personal taste preferences.

The highlight of the tour was definitely the tasting session. Since I went with my family, we were able to sample a wide range of whiskies, including the 12-year, 18-year, 21-year, and a highball. It was a fantastic opportunity to appreciate the depth and character of each expression.

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the pace of the tour. It felt a bit rushed, and I didn’t have enough time to fully explore or take in the details, especially in the exhibition section. A little more time at each stop would have made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a highly recommended tour for both whisky lovers and curious visitors.

what a brilliant experience. My first bottle of 'expensive' whisky was an Aberfeldy 21 when I was 40. My son treated me to the distillery tour as part of a celebration. I had a brilliant time. The tour around the distillery was excellent, the guide was excellent. We then went to the bar and Craig took over. What a knowledgeable charasmatic chap, who helped being the experience to life. Craig topped off an amazing celebration day. Great visit and would highly recommend

Visiting Dewar's Distillery was an unforgettable experience! The tour was very well-organized and informative, giving us a great insight into the history and craftsmanship behind Dewar’s whisky. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, making the whole journey even more enjoyable. The tasting session at the end was a real highlight — the whiskies were exceptional, each with its own unique character and smoothness. The visitor center was also lovely, with a cozy atmosphere and a great selection of souvenirs. I would highly recommend Dewar’s Distillery to anyone who appreciates fine whisky and wants to learn more about the art of Scotch making.

Visited Dewar’s Whisky Distillery and absolutely loved it. The place has a great atmosphere and is full of character. Popped into the whisky shop and couldn’t resist picking up a bottle for myself and another as a gift. Well worth the stop!

Stopped by as part of a Rabbies Tour. We did the tour and shoutout to Jim for keeping it interesting and guiding us through the whiskey making process. It was interesting, the tasting was great and overall worth stopping by. Would do again and recommend 100% going to the distillery and doing the tour. Very nicely done Jim and Dewars team 👍

We had a really informative and enjoyable tour and tasting at Dewar's Distillery. We've both been on distillery tours before, and though we like whisky, aren't total fanatics, but as it turned out there was plenty in the tour to draw in and engage us. We really liked the museum, but the highlight of our visit was the interactions we had with the lovely staff. Craig who was the main tour guide and whose passion for whisky made the tasting so lively, Ian who gave us an incredibly well-informed and interesting private tour segment while the rest of the visitors saw the wheelchair-inaccessible areas of the distillery, James who was so attentive and helpful, Michelle who sorted us out on arrival and made sure we didn't leave half our things behind at the till when we left, and Heather and the young lad with red hair (sorry we didn't catch your name!) who served us our lovely lunch and were so kind and friendly.

Really good tour from start to finish, the whisky distilling process was very well explained by our guide, Craig, who was also really engaging and made the tour fun. Highly recommended if you are visiting Aberfeldy, just make sure you book in advance as it sells out. Whisky tasting and bar also excellent, catered well for all the different nationalities visiting Scotland with interactive apps in the museum section in multiple languages.

This was an excellent distillery experience! Craig was a great guide. Knowledgeable and entertaining! We have been through countless tours in America and Aberfeldy and Craig made it like a new experience. The whisky is excellent so that certainly helps. I highly recommend the distillery only 9 YO cask strength finished in Scottish oak. One of the best scotches on the trip. This is a must see tour.
