Finlake Falls near Chudley is a must-visit! We took full advantage of the fantastic reduced-price family passes, making the most of the incredible indoor swimming pool with its thrilling flumes, and the on-site gym. Our accommodation at the fabulous Cowslip Lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although my wife's skydive was unfortunately postponed several times due to the Devon weather, the highlight was being granted an extra night upon request! I've already been enthusiastically recommending Devon Holidays and this location to everyone and will continue to do so. Thanks again for such a wonderful experience! P.S. Booked Primrose lodge through Devon Holidays. We had the best holiday. My daughter had been in hospital the previous week and we all needed rest. The lodge was perfect, well equipped. Amazing hot tub and sauna. Decking for sitting listening to the birds watching the sheep and horses on the hill. Pool had everything you needed. Hub accepted dogs and did the best chips! We've just returned from a short break at Finlake Holiday Park in Deer Park 7 and had an amazing time. Finlake is fantastic and the pool was a big hit with our kids. You can pay for passes to use the facilities (£20 for adults and £10 for children for 4 days at the time of this review) which we were ok with. You can also just pay per day if you need to. We also had a meal at The Retreat Restaurant onsite and the food was great. The reviews looked pretty average before we booked but everyone's meals were excellent. The lodge itself had everything we needed for a short stay and the hot tub was a big bonus. The wifi was pretty solid at around 10mbps which was enough to keep the kids entertained. The communication from Devon Holidays was also excellent and we have already booked to return in Easter 2024. 🙂

We booked at Finlake through Devon Holidays and stayed in Fawn Lodge. It was amazing, pure and simple. Some other reviews of the park suggested that some lodges aren't up to scratch, but this was not our experience. Fawn Lodge was perfect - well laid out and very spacious, in a lovely quiet area (although the whole park is very serene) and so comfortable. A good sized and well-appointed kitchen made feeding the family an stress-free experience - which can make or break a holiday!
The hot tub was a delight - again, very private and just perfect for relaxing.
Finlake itself was also beautiful. Great pools, fantastic food and everything was just perfect. The activities were great, and the staff so good with kids in both instruction and entertaining them. My son particularly liked Rob and is adamant that we will return to see him again. We will be back, that's for sure - the park is too good and with so many lovely beaches and resorts within 20 minutes, why wouldn't we return!

Conkers Retreat at Finlake Resort, Devon, a very enjoyable stay for a few days. Lodge setting were very well setup, parking for a car and easy access. We were walking distance from the main hub areas with swimming pools indoor and outdoor along with a spa, fitness centre, restaurant and local shop. Well appointed space in the lodge, room for 6 people which was perfect for us. Enough seating for us all, along with storage space in the rooms and two bathrooms. Open kitchen and lounge space was easy to get comfortable in. Central heating and electric heater in the communal lounge/kitchen space. Hot tub for our lodge use was a big plus and we used it everyday for a few hours. Finlake space is well looked after and looks tip top even with the wetter weather of our week. Options to buy a lodge should you want, tempting...

Glorified Carven…

The sofas are that bad I couldn’t let my daughter sit on it on your own. The sides of the sofas are disgusting.
The 1st night and we had dog fur in the double bed.
The floor, we couldn’t walk around barefoot because you end up with fur on your feet. My partner even got the hoover out and that was smelly.
There is an air lock in the hot water. That causes a water hammer (banging)
So we soon release we couldn’t have showers once the baby was in bed.
There are cobwebs and dirt everywhere! We even put everything through the dish washer before we started.
The shower door was broken and the beds are uncomfortable.
This host Jason is a liar! The review he has left me on Airbnb is slanderous!

We had a lovely midweek stay in Belvedere Edge during February. The lodge is in a fabulous location on the site within a 5 minute walk to the swimming complex and bar/restaurant. The lodge was well equipped for a family of 6 and the hot tub overlooking the resort was a great spot to relax after a day out. The resort itself is well maintained and plenty of walks and activities onsite. The service received from Devon Holidays was excellent and Jason was always available to ask questions if needed and answer any queries. We will definitely be using Devon Holidays again and returning to Finlake soon. 😃
