Dave is a fantastic guide! We just finished a full day tour from Edinburgh out to the Kelpies, Stirling Castle, and through the gorgeous countryside. Dave had loads of interesting information to share, brought us to a great lunch spot, and was all-around flexible & helpful. We highly recommend him as a tour guide in the Edinburgh/Glasgow area!

Went on the Glorious Scotland tour in April and loved it! Dave is a great guide and all of our group genuinely enjoyed his company for the day. The car is comfy and really well equipped - he even has a tea and coffee station in the back! A well thought out set up allowing customers to maximise their time exploring instead of queuing for over priced food and drinks on the stops (esp if you get a lunch hamper from The Kilted Caterer). We were all given headphones so we could clearly hear Dave in and out of the car. Would highly recommend 👍👍

The Woodward family thoroughly enjoyed our day tour with Dave! Couldn’t have asked for a nicer person. His knowledge of Scotland and attention to detail is fantastic, with personalised tours, tailored to suit our needs, personal cup holders, wet wipes, hand sanitiser, phone chargers, and water. Dave put himself out to make sure we were well look after all throughout the day. He provided us with biscuits, hot and cold drinks, and selfishly shared Tablet and Scottish Whiskey with us when he dropped us off at the hotel even though he doesn’t drink himself. He wasn’t all about the money or precious about the time and genuinely took an interest in how we felt and what we thought about the tour / it’s value for money. He took us to hidden spots that we would have never found on our own. We would definitely hire a day tour with him again! Thank you Dave.

So happy to have found David for our tour from Edinburgh. David is knowledgeable, fun and well-prepared (hot drinks, shortbread, cakes, restaurant recommendations. carrots for the hairy cows, umbrellas, waters, etc.). Do not hesitate to book with him. Highly recommend.

David took us on a wonderful tour of St Andrews and the Kingsbarns distillery. He was very entertaining and accommodating to our family tour. He had a lovely snack/picnic for us before we started back. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone who wants to see Scotland .

Upon missing our originally planned Highland tourbus with another tour company (on our one day in Glasgow!), we were fortunately connected with David of Designer Tours via phone. He saved our trip and came to pick my family up within an hour, so we were on our way for the most beautiful tour of the Scottish Highlands. What made it most special is that he inquired about our hopes and interests and instantly created an itinerary for the day. Throughout the tour he offered lots of interesting and insightful bits of history and informaiton and even gave great suggestions for future plans of our remaining time in the UK. We will definitely be contacting him in the future with any of our Scottish travel plans and highly reccommend this tour company! Thank you so very much for making a most memorable experience for us!
