Very thankful for the prompt efficient service - you arrived 5 minutes earlier to make sure we did not miss our train! Especially considering the thick snow. We arrived at the station 35 minutes earlier and caught an earlier train (our booked train was delayed). Thank you.

Extremely disappointed. I have always been using Dean and had lovely experience. I am a loyal Dean customer since last 4 years. Today's driver was so rude and pathetic. He was shouting and was not listening what I was saying. Extremely poor behaviour and service.

Absolutely terrible service booked 48 hours in advance for a taxi and also a return, received a call to say it had arrived and went outside and it wasn't there then walked out my street and the taxi was coming from the completely wrong address and then I was 5 mins and then the return journey the taxis was 20 minutes late and no apology was offered by the driver for being late .and when I complained!!!!!!!

He said phone the office or get out. Not happy at all then he said I didn't take your booking !! Appalling!!!! AVOID

Taxi had already accumulate a charge before arriving. Entered the taxi before booked time.

Had already accumulated a charge on the meter. When queried, the usual nervous lies.

It's a shame you continue to employ and enable.
People would part with their money more often if it wasn't a recurring negative experience.

This is the first time I'm writing a review about Dean taxies. I have been using Dean's for many years and not just occasionaly but probably about 10 taxies a week to get me to and from work. There has been problems in the past but this was due to bus strike. I rang today for my usual taxi, this came up as booked, after 5mins I still had not had a dispatch notice I rang back and was told it would not be long. Cut a long story short after 3 calls the last lady told me it was going to be at least 10mins. Needless to say I was very late for work. If taxies aren't available DON'T tell customers they won't be long. I gave you 3 stars and that is for the drives 🚗 who are normally amazing but please make sure your team tell the truth when it comes to wait times. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 ps 45mins for a taxi from whickham to dunston is not good.

Pre booked months in advance for Christmas Eve for six people plus a seat for an 18 month toddler. Confirmed 4 or 5 times over the phone and was told sarcastically that they know how to book a taxi. Christmas Eve arrives and a taxi for four people with no baby seat arrives, leaving us with no choice but to drive. No apology or explanation given and event ruined. Just as well we had the option to drive or we would have missed the event completely. Not to be relied on and very annoyed with the company!!!

App very floored. Showed driver 1 minute away from pick up, then 8 minutes away on arrival. Didn’t show I was in the car.
Driver took longest route possible. A lot could be better. Never even near the price quoted
