We stayed for one night at your hotel and had booked a room for four people. Unfortunately, the room was not fully prepared for all guests — one person had no bedding, pillows, or blankets. Additionally, there were not enough hand and bath towels, and the sink plug was stuck. When we reported this to the night receptionist, we were provided with towels , but there were no extra pillows available, and nothing could be done about the sink at that time. So we used the towels as pillows and had no blankets for the night.

However, I would like to highlight the exceptional service provided by Carolina at check-out. She was very friendly, empathetic, and solution-oriented. After we shared our experience with her, she sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and even offered us complimentary breakfast as a gesture of goodwill. Thanks to her, we left the hotel with a positive feeling after this.

Carolina is truly a role model for customer service — thank you again!

Fantastic little stopover hotel after we landed late at night at Stansted. A fraction of the cost if the closer hotels, but still only 5 minutes away.

It doesn't have all the bells & whistles of some of the more expensive chains, but the beds are comfortable, the place is very clean, and there's significantly more room!

Only thing to note is that isn't a lift, so it's worth requesting a ground floor room if you have limited mobility.

Walked into the reception and stood a good 2 minutes before the male receptionist decided to look up from the film he was watching on his phone, a film that he didnt even pause when I got the statement yeah, followed by name. Rude was an understatement. I was told that I had to pay for the room which I found Strange as I was sure it had been paid for already. I said i would pay by cash and got the reply no problems but will need a £150 CASH deposit. Strange when the site clearly states CASH is not accepted. When I said no as you have my card details to guarantee the room, he told me it had been declined. Strange as I'd not given authorisation for him to use it. When I said this, he then claimed the system says in declined. How, when it supposed to NOT have been tried, I don't know. When I mentioned this fact he got abusive and started claiming he's not bothered, doesnt care, and doesn't give a sxxt. He then refused to issue the room.|Reported this straight away on booking.com who then contacted them straight away. Before I'd left the car park, I'd recieved an email from booking.com that the hotel had wavered the charges and FULLY refunded me and provided an apology for what had happened. Refund on a room I was told wasn't paid for by the receptionist, but clearly it was. I hope for others sake that thos receptionist has been removed.|Still, did me a favour as I booked a hotel 15 miles up the road for £45 less that included breakfast, FREE fast Internet, and FREE secure parking.

Not stayed in a Days Inn for donkey’s years since a US road trip. Didn’t have great expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Clean rooms, fresh smelling, good bathroom with huge shower and proper loo rolls. |Top service by the really nice guy on the front desk too. |What more could you want for a pre airport stay?

Visiting from Canada on just a quick overnight stay before a morning flight from Stansted - can’t recommend enough. Alma is just incredible at the front desk, saw her help another guest in need and then was a huge help assisting me with my flight. Truly lovely person and the hotel is everything you need. Cheers!

Heres the thing, me and my bf booked this place for a weekend because we had to attend a wedding nearby. The reception lady was kind enough to give us early check-in but, that's probably the only above bare minimum nice thing about this place. It's at a convenient location no doubt and the rooms are decent size, it serves the purpose if you are just looking for a bed to crash in. Speaking about the negatives, the place is absolutely filled with spiders. Like I'm not referring to 1-2 cobwebs in the wall. It had spiders in the washroom, near the bed corners, under the table, near the sink, behind the radiator, any direction you will look in, you will spot a spider. My worst experience was I was brushing my teeth early in the morning and I felt this tickle on my leg, I looked down and lo and behold, a spider crawling its way up. If you're just looking for an affordable shelter close to the airport for a nights stay and don't mind sharing your space with spiders then go for it.

Booked for a three night stay. Clean , comfortable cheap . BUT, although I gave number plate details to reception was given a hundred pound parking fine per night. Parkingeye insisted in treating each fine separately, remitted two but not the third (no explanation). Asked Days Inn for help via their website. No reply. Eventually settled with Parkingeye for £20 to get them off my back

When I got there it was already night, and the walkway from the bus stop to the hotel was really dark and pretty scary. I had to use my phone flashlight to get through, but even then it felt way too dark in the middle of the forest—honestly frightening. On top of that, around midnight the guests upstairs were walking around and it woke me up.
