We stayed for 3 nights at The Lookout cottage in October 2024, booked directly with Toni through their website. Toni and Ned are great hosts. It was a fun experience to walk across the causeway at low tide and to spend a day on the island without leaving. The views, quiet and darkness cannot be beat. We loved watching the highland coo residents, and playing board games in the observatory. We would stay here again for a longer period of time next time!

Got back yesterday from a short break at the lighthouse keepers cottage. Everything about the trip was absolutely perfect. Ned picked us up from Campbeltown, which was a massive help as the bus we had been planning on getting wasn't running due to a bank holiday. Also dropped us back in town as well which was very much appreciated. Both he and Toni are lovely and so helpful.
The cottage itself is lovely and well kept. I actually loved seeing the chickens and dogs every day, and the dogs would sometimes come to the door for a wee clap. Also, the eggs are delicious. A perfect wee place to go and get away from the world for a few days.

Ned & Toni are amazing and make your stay an awesome experience.

Beautiful island near Campbeltown. The cottage my wife and I stayed in was lovely and well-appointed, and from there we were free to explore the hills, rocky coasts, and caves of the island, and to watch the ever-changing colours of the sea and sky. A quiet place shared with excellent hosts (who live in a house nearby), their little band of friendly dogs, and the many sheep who make the island their home. Staying here was an incredible experience.
