I didn’t stay at the location. Just popped in for some lunch and it was delicious. I recommend the steak and ale pie. The gravy is amazing. Also the short rib bourguignon is a must. Really good food at reasonable price. Fully recommend for the food. Sorry I couldn’t comment on the hotel part.

4 of us for lunch today... Fantastic food, great presentation, such a wide range on the menu. The 3 lads that were on duty today, were very attentive, polite and we enjoyed a great banter with them. Good atmosphere, tables not crowded, so plenty of room to move chairs etc. Loved our window seat with a lovely view of shrubbery. Would highly recommend .Would give a higher star if I were allowed.

First time visiting today. The decor when you walk in is lovely. Drinks were good. Ordered two roast dinners, one turkey and one beef. The beef is described as "served pink with sausage meat stuffing". That is not what was served. The beef was overcooked, tough and very fatty. The stuffing was a dry, hard, sage and onion ball. The turkey was also very dry. No one bothered to come and ask if the food was ok and the place was not particularly busy. It was disappointing. Would go back for drinks but wouldn't bother with the food.

came here today on a spontaneous decision with my partner , service was swift to take the order . We both looked online at the prices and wasn’t expecting much for our portions but were stunned when they came out and we were full after the camombear sharer and halloumi fries . Was over so slightly disappointed with the fish and chips as it was extra crispy however that is all down to personal preference and the food was still amazing .

Really nice pub in a great location, was down visiting friends and came out for food . I opted for the Steak and it was cooked to perfection. The service was amazing , Gemma went the extra mile for us and nothing was too much trouble .
Would highly recommend this place and will certainly visit again next time I visit .

Lovely location near River Dart, ideal for Buckfast Abbey and South Devon Railway. |Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were lovely and attentive and service was great. Food was homemade, hot and delicious. Enjoyed our two day relaxing break. Only downside was traffic noise from being situated on main road, but all in all a nice getaway.

Stopped for a meal to round off a day on our holiday.
The meal was excellent and the service was really great.
Our waitress Emily made the whole time we were there really enjoyable.
Would recommend.

We stayed there, twice in May. Each time for two nights in room 18. The hotel and the room were spotless. The bathroom positively gleamed. The food was excellent. The breakfast was 11/10, served by Nicole and cooked by Matthew. Perfect 🤩 We’re going back again in June. If you drive past it from A38, and are looking for somewhere for a comfort stop or to stay. Turn around and go into the Dartbridge Inn. You won’t be disappointed
