Beautiful place, spotlessly clean and everything was just perfect. Superb host who cooked us both a fantastic breakfast. Lots of little things added to make it an excellent stay and I loved all the subtle sheep themed bits and pieces. Thank you

The gluten free options for breakfast were amazing and the food was very well presented and of the best quality. The room was immaculately clean and warm. The shower was great and the owners had thought of everything - shampoo, conditioner and body lotion was all provided.

We visited Dalesgate Lodge as a last minute surprise for my husband… fortunately, they were able to accommodate us as they are normally fully booked.|We were welcomed by Dan who went out of his way to be friendly and hospitable. |Breakfast is ordered on the evening before. Our room was very homely.. as was the whole place…and, at a reasonable price.|Good menu choice and cooked to perfection.|I can certainly understand why Dalesgate Lodge gets booked up!|Thanks Dan for having us, we’ll return!

The Dalesgate Lodge is an excellent place to stay and hope we can revisit. Dan met us on arrival and cooked a wonderful breakfast the following morning. He gave us ideas on where to eat and drink in Skipton and discussed the local area with travel times or distances. The room we had was spotlessly clean and had a comfortable bed, there was no noise and couldn't offer anything to improve our stay. Thank you Dan. Andrew

A lovely stay at Daniels place in skipton.||Really cute and very clean and tidy, and a really comfy bed! Great facilities and perfect location, within 5 minutes from the town centre.||Daniel was a great host who cooked up a delicious breakfast!|

This place makes a lovely change from the big chain hotel type of stay. It has a welcoming atmosphere in a pleasant location. There is plenty of information on the local area in the rooms. Breakfast was outstanding and has a good variety of options. I would gladly stay again.

One of the best bed and breakfast's we've stayed in for so many reasons. The bedrooms firstly are clean, well looked after and have lovely, comfortable beds. The breakfasts were outstanding with great local produce used. Daniel clearly loves looking after his guests and we'll definitely book again when we next stay in Skipton.

Lovely warm welcome, and a cosy, comfortable stay. Loved the personal touches like the cookies in the room, homemade apple juice at breakfast, the fruit salad on the table, as well as a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast. Great location - 10 minute walk from the station and into the town centre, and just down the road from where I needed to be the next day.
