Absolutely great. Simple, clean, modern, well maintained and warm. Just what I needed. Owner was helpful with texts emails and a phone call ( I made because I wasn't quite up to speed). Parking was more than adequate, safe at the back. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The area was quiet.
Two lovely local pubs (The Oak and the Old Mill ) were short walking distance with good food and ales, reasonably priced. Baginton has a little Roman Fort. Very convenient for the air Museum, Coventry tourist localities and Sports Connexion Centre.

Any plus was negated by the absolutely freezing room, room #7. When we arrived, a bit B4 2:30PM, the room was ready, but freezing. Called property owners, said heat will come on at 3 yadda yadda. Ok, guess that's fine. Room slowly heated up, acceptable but not exactly "warm" even with radiator maxed out. After eventually going to bed, woke up at 3AM. Room must have been 5°C if that, no heat. Freezing,,with only one duvet for the bed. Hell if we'd known that would have brought fleece to sleep in or looked elsewhere 🤬. Didn't know this was an artic camping experience. |To add to that experience,,about 8:30PM the fire alarm was set off. We assumed some dummy decided to smoke in their room, but who knows. Everyone eventually crawled outside. We elected to sit in our car, until this was resolved, as it was very cold outside. The management sent us an email notifying us they'd get in touch when it'd be safe to return. After an hour we stuck our heads out of the car,,no longer heard the alarm. No email or anything from management,,assumed they spread the information to the several standing by the door. ||Might add we were asked to use the lot in the back to park, so vans could use the front. Just fine, except that it's pitch black back there and no lights. We found that out during our fire alarm episode. A bit of a hazard waiting to happen. Thankfully the lot was fairly level,,at least where we shuffled around on. ||The room while not immaculately clean, shower grubby, was acceptable and tidy. The bed was at least comfortable. A TV provided, but not hooked up to the internet, so the Netflix/YouTube selection shown not available,, couldn't even cast from my phone or use closed captions. Basic live channel package.||I'm sitting here at 4:49 AM on the chair in my coat, wrapped up in my bath towel, shivering,,hard to sleep when I'm so damn cold. Wife woke up to say "absolutely freezing, cheap skates". Won't stay here again. Brrrrr🥶🤬!!!

I stayed in a single room (16) and it was quaint and lovely. Excellent communication from the owner who explained the check in process very clearly. ( Self check in using codes and keypads,) The room was clean and although the bed was a little firm, the pillow was fab and I slept brilliantly. I'll definitely be rebooking for my next visit down to Leamington.

Stayed midweek as I work in Coventry but live about an hour away, and had some long days so wanted to stay close to the office for a night.||Check in was easy (lockbox) and communication by the host good, parking is a squeeze round the back (once you’re in the car park it’s fine) so just be careful if you have a larger vehicle.||The room was a single and fine for my needs for 1 night but I’d probably book a larger room for any longer. Noise wasn’t a problem for me but I was in a smaller building next to the main building. The street itself is a quiet residential one. Tea, coffee and shower gels were provided as were towels. ||The shop opposite is no longer open which is a shame as I would’ve liked to get some soft drinks but this isn’t the fault of The Dakota. There is a pub about a 5-8 minute walk if you turn out of the property to the left and keep walking.||I’d stay again if the price was right as my needs were met.

Rooms are clean and en-suite clean. I was in room 8 which was quite small. Walls paper thin, can hear other guests snoring. Nothing really around. No physical person there. Self check in. Was ok for business trip. We visited the Chinese next door and unless you eat in your room there’s no lounge/seating area. We returned the week later and the food we disposed of in the bin outside was still there, which was quite disappointing. Overall, nice rooms, and ok for the night, reasonable price.

Easy check in process (the guesthouse isn’t staffed). Parking is sufficient but a bit of a squeeze between 2 close buildings. Wifi does not work in room 11. Very very noisy. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the nearby rooms. The doors bang really noisily. Reasonably clean but extremely basic.

A spotlessly clean room, in an excellent location, within easy access to Coventry & Warwickshire. This was our first time staying here, so the peculiarities of having no one on site, was a little daunting prior to arrival, but the information we received ensured there was nothing to worry about. The access code allowed easy entrance to the building and our room (room 7) was spacious and spotless.|There is ample parking in front and at the rear of the property and we found everything to our liking.|One special mention needs to be the ease of access in to Coventry from here, with the route through the new "JLR access road" meaning that there is no need to go on to the busy A45 at all, as it brings you out at the London Road, so the CBS Arena and City Centre are easily accessible, as is Kenilworth/Leamington & Warwick plus Rugby and the M45 is only 15 minutes drive.|All in all we were really pleased to have found this little gem, with a couple of pubs & restaurants within walking distance, it is very good value for money.
