Useless bus company that provides transport for school. Constantly late or not turning up. 5 yrs of complaining about them. Why Swansea council keep renewing the contract I will never know. The busses they use are falling apart, stinking dirty & smell awful. Not fit to be on the roads.
Always excuses on why bus is late or not turning up…..bus broke down, bus has a flat tyre, door won’t close, engine issues, driver off ill are just a few of the long excuses they use.
Also the speed these buses drive it is ridiculous. 20mph zone & they fly through it, also pull out into oncoming traffic on the main road without a care in the world.
They can never give a straight answer. I’m so glad my child no longer needs to use the school bus.

Really Nice coach.. but unfortunately the driver (with an English accent, bald head , glasses and a tribal tattoo on his arm) being rude and was dishonest when a wallet was lost.

We know the wallet was on the bus on the way back from Chepstow races as we was playing games just 15 mins before drop off and using that wallet. When rung to try locate and collect within 5-10 mins of the bus leaving. The driver had already said he had cleaned the bus and found nothing on the bus.
Also we did not stop the whole way of this journey.

Phoned Cymru Coaches to explain that one of their drivers, who was driving a school mini bus, over took me in a 40 mph area, I was doing 40 mph, to get them to act on this behaviour. I was assured that it would be investigated, and they would get back to me. This never happened!

I wouldn’t use these coaches. Driver for the train replacement service was very rude. He wasn’t dressed in hi vis like other staff and I didn’t realise he was the driver. Tried to help people put their cases in the hold and he sarcastically said Maybe you should leave that to me! Very rude, not obviously the driver at all. How not to treat paying customers who’re on 7 hour journey with a child.
No seat belts fitted, coach was almost full and stifling hot and smelly.
He needs training in how to be polite to customers who are trying to help and perhaps wear his hi vis like the other staff.

Staff very friendly and helpful, drivers very professional. Coaches are clean & very comfortable. Private hire or regular contract work, even one way journeys. new vehicles arriving very often, this company is really rejuvenating itself within the coaching industry. Recommended.... The company has since updated its fleet & has increased the number of coaches, the new coaches are of a high standard, very comfortable & in very high demand.

What a great bus/coach hire company. After having dreadful experiences with other hire companies, Cymru coaches have been like a breath of fresh air. Booking was simple and over the phone and prices are very competitive. Always on time, modern, comfortable and clean coaches with drivers who go that extra mile to assist your needs.

Hired a coach for a wedding party to London and paid higher than normal rate. Requested a bus with 3 feathers. Green coach turned up with Swansea university sports emblazoned on it.. looked unprofessional. Not only that, the onboard toilet didn't work. Not good when you have elderly and disabled on board.

I've complained 3 times and been told they are investigating but just been ignored. My advice is to avoid this company. I'd never contemplate using them again.

I Came back from a Scottish tour on Friday. The drivers name was Dave from your company, he was hired to drive for Leasuretime.What a brilliant gentleman, so friendly &so helpfull,always happy to help.He had not driven on this tour before&was abit nervous about where he was going or where the hotel was in Scotland.But he put all this worries behind him, & did a brilliant job in getting everybody safely to the hotel in Scotland,got everybody safely to there bedrooms,told every body what the itinerary was for the week .He gave us plenty of toilet stops on the way up to scotland ,as the toilet on the coach was not working .Dave took us on three day tours out& they where a joy to be out on,as he made everybody laugh with silly stories & jokes. Made an easy journey back to Newport,because it was such along time on the road. Once again thank you very much
