Wonderful visit and learnt lots from this interesting visitor centre. Great staff and you can attend many of their free redcoat tours. The Quay is a must-see and has an array of quirky shops and wonderful places to stop for food or refreshments. You will most definitely love the swans along the way!

The history of Exeter is presented in great 15 minutes movie in Custom House. The information center now is only here.
A lot of leaflets with interesting places, maps, upcoming events for all ages can be found there.
Friendly atmosphere, excellent attitude, remarkable history.

Very historic place. Beautiful decorated ceilings. One of the oldest custom houses in England. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Well worth a visit

I just go for the cannons outside,
No seriously if you like to know about trading via the canal during the 13th and 14th century then this is the place to go.
Staff are really friendly and helpful too.
