We are from the UK and had an amazing time on our trip cycling the back roads of Cuba. Arley our guide was enthusiastic and great fun - a real ambassador for Cuba. Our driver/mechanic Coco worked tirelessly to make sure we had plenty of water, local fruit/snacks, and replacement tyres!
The scenery was beautiful and Cuban people very welcoming.
The food was plentiful and fantastic with lots of fresh fish and lobster.
The trip is the best way to experience the real Cuba and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it

My daughter and I planned a unique itinerary with Cubania for an 11 day trip to celebrate her 21st birthday. The knowledge and experience of the team meant we had the perfect itinerary for our special trip. Carla in the office was great at responding to queries and suggesting improvements to our ideas.

We had a few days in Old Havana staying in a beautiful casa (Hostal Buen Viaje) with lovely, friendly staff; a night in a comfortable small hotel on the water near Cienfuegos (Camila’s Hostel & Restaurant) with beautifully presented food, a few days at an all inclusive hotel at Playa Ancon near Trinidad and a couple of days back in Havana staying in a 5 star hotel.

We had our own guide, Tony, for the first 6 days who was great company as well as knowledgeable and flexible to the itinerary (like when we bought more rum than we could carry and needed a taxi back to the casa before lunch!) We snorkelled with tropical fish in a natural sea pool at Caleta Buena, cooled down in a pool near the El Nicho waterfall in the Escambray Mountains, relaxed in the warm Caribbean Sea and on the white sandy beach, mixed cocktails in Havana & had a dance lesson on a rooftop with El Capitolio Nacional gleaming in the background. We ate in some great paladars, well chosen by Cubania for both authentic and vegetarian food.

There are no words to describe my trip to Cuba. The itinerary exceeded my expectations. Arley was an experienced guide who taught us about the history of Cuba and local costumes. Being a local Arley provided us with a “local” experience. All the restaurants were exceptional, I did not have a bad meal in Cuba. I went to Cuba to support the Cuban people but in reality they gave something more valuable that no amount of money can buy. My soul is enriched and Cuba will remain in my heart. I will recommend this Country to everyone. I love you Cuba ❤️

Words cannot do justice to the experience we had traveling in Cuba. It was wonderful!
From the moment we landed to the day we left everything went off without a hitch. I was amazed at the level of detail that was considered by Cubania to make our trip so special. The accommodations were comfortable, hosts kind and welcoming, food delicious and plentiful. Our trip was made more special thanks to the knowledge, skill, dedication, thoughtfulness dancing skills and good humor of our guides Jackson and Chacon.

My partner and I had THE most incredible experience on our tour. Cuba did not disappoint and was incredible but much much more than that our guide JACKSON was an absolute LEGEND! Not only did he give us an honest and open account of the history but also his own personal experiences of his country. We feltin incredibly good hands at all times and would recommend anyone to do this, particularly with this organisation in a heartbeat...in addition to our incredible experience Jackson and his colleague Lucy went hugely above and beyond what you might expect when I left my phone on a taxi after our tour had finished and between them they managed to arrange getting it back to me in the UK...not a mean fear and such an unusually thoughtful and committed effort it quite literally restored my faith in humans!!! I have been very hesitant about visiting Cuba but with the help of Lucy at Cubania our trip to Cuba has been a great success. It is a fascinating country full of contradictions. The people are so friendly and I must say I feel safer here than in England. Sure there are shortages but you can make do. If you are thinking of a trip to cuba go for it.

Third time visiting Cuba and being looked after by the amazing team at Cubania. Always filled with activities and a real insight. This trip consisted of salsa classes, conga drum lesson, cycling, horse riding, zip lining, snorkelling, spending time in Havana, Trinidad and Bay of pigs...and lots of great food. The team is very caring, knowledgable and feels like a real family. Looking forward to my next visit!
