We did the one hour long circular trip which cost £15. The lady doing the tour was at times quite funny. I wasn't sure if it was a recording until she suddenly said, wow that’s a big wasp and almost jumped out of the cockpit. The day was overcast, the only day that was during our week in the area but the trip was nice. It was interesting to learn about how the English military built the road along the side of the Loch. Most people sat on the top but there was an enclosed lower deck which would be ideal on a rainy day and where you get some refreshments.

Made the most of the heatwave last weekend and took the Lomond Princess from Luss to Inchcailloch island on Saturday at 10am. Archie was our skipper and Oscar his crew, both were very welcoming and attentive to the 25+ visitors onboard. Archie gave a superb running commentary on the history of loch lomond as we cruised towards our destination, mentioning interesting facts about the islands we passed, and spotting wildlife, including the nesting pair of Osprey with their one chick. Archie was great at balancing commentary with comfortable silence, so we could enjoy our surroundings and the spectacular views in the glorious sunshine.
I highly recommend Inchcailloch island as a destination. Take a picnic and some camp chairs and you can enjoy the island walks, the woods and camp bbq area, and the beach with its cool water to dip into when the sun gets too much! We opted to take the 1350 boat back to Luss , plenty of time on the island before heading home. The boat was packed on the return trip after picking up more visitors at Balmaha. Archie gave us all a grand finale with his story telling of the song, The Bonnie Banks o' Loch Lomond, and proceeded to sing said song as we approached Luss pier. A lovely ending to a fantastic day on the water, thanks Archie, Oscar and everyone at Cruise Loch Lomond. We shall be back soon !

We took the 1 hour Tarbet Circle cruise on the Lomond Chieftain, which was absolutely stunning. John the skipper gave an informative and amusing personal commentary which I much prefer to pre-recorded type ones. Great information about the whole area and the Loch's history. Staff member Emily was very friendly and helpful, she also made a fuss of our dog who was very nervous getting on and off. First class.

Very basic boat used for cruise, just had some benches on the top level, to which the stairs seemed a bit dangerous. Bar was also below average with two hot water thermos for tea and coffee and cold milk. Interior had some comfortable seating but then view wasnt great from there. Got to spot osprey nest as well as the bird itself and the duration was generous and scenery was beautiful. Commentary was boring. Overall, i wish i had chosen some other carrier for the trip

Wonderful, relaxing way to see Loch Lomond & surrounng scenery. We did the 90 mins Balmaha Circular stopping at Luss & return. Skipper John & guide Darren we're very personable, excellent informative commentary, stopping to view Osprey in their nests on the way. Playing a recording of 'The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond' during the commentary while passing the scenery made it charming & even more special. Highly recommended, good value.

A lovely experience to do. Tour guide was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. There's also a nice cafe on site which does a very good hot chocolate and lemon drizzle cake!

We went on one of their cruises on Sunday and it was superb! The staff were lovely, and made a real fuss of our dog who wasn’t really happy with being on a boat! I would highly recommend and will be going back for their other cruises! Absolutely lovely to see a successful family run business doing an amazing job giving tourists a great memory. As a Scottish person it made me proud. 😊
