Nice size park for taking our little dog for a walk. Plenty of seats and the park is well cared for, the garden areas always look nice and the kids play area is currently being updated.

Beautiful gardens very well maintained. Good accessible pathways with plenty of seating for resting if needed. Carparking was good too. Something for everyone and had some lovely conversations with people while there. Overall found a relaxing oasis with lots of beauty around each corner and pathways. Birds sound beautiful and are amazing to watch on the water. A place I love and always will would recommend a visit I see Something different every time I go even though been often a place that makes me smile and relax well done to the people who care for and tend the park and thankyou for your hard work 🙏🙂

We had a nice time at the park but it requires a lot of work to bring it back to its best.

The lake water is disgusting and run down looking.

The kids playground needs a lot of repairs. There is exposed rock directly under the swings which is incredibly dangerous

Such a great getaway in the heart of the Town below. A rich history and welcoming still surrounds.

Attended the Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club show at the park. The weather held out and there was an abundance of classic cars on show.

Though the event doesn’t have its own listing, the park was more than suitable for hosting!

No fees for entry and it offered a lot of classic car enthusiasts the opportunity to wow the public with their rebuilt, tuned, restored vehicles.

There wasn’t much variation outside of the European domestic market of vehicles - though there was a lot of Ford Cortinas!

Spacious park a mile or so from Dewsbury town centre. Reasonably well kept, but the old Park Mansion and cafe are boarded up.. The kids' play areas are often cordoned off, too. Pleasant enough for stroll

A lovely walk around the park. However, it is very neglected and has a lot of rats... Yes you heard right... Rats! If you go please don't take bread for the ducks as I believe it makes the rat problem worse. Someone had even thrown cooked rice on the path for the ducks. Yes rice is very nice with duck and pancakes but they don't digest it well.
