We have had lunch at the Cromlix yesterday and enjoyed 3 courses. The food was delicious and the bread was warm. We like that the butter was room temperature. To service was lovely. We love that the hotel is dog friendly and the gardens are well kept. We enjoyed the design and the wall papers. We will be back. Thanks

Hello
Afternoon tea with some sparkle….food, setting (inside and out) and especially the staff and service was both homely but professional. The flowers inside and out are so pretty. Would come back for an overnight and know I would feel relaxed and content.

It’s fair to say this has to be in one of our top 3 best hotel stays. First impressions were immediately top drawer, a beautifully presented layout, air filled with a lovely scent and a quiet calming environment. The concierge was incredibly well versed in her role and her attitude was exceptional. She made us feel welcome from the off and had clearly done her research having picked up from the booking that we were celebrating our anniversary. In fact throughout our stay numerous members of staff sought to congratulate us and celebrate our special occasion. In my experience It’s very rare to see staff so well informed and a team so joined up so to elevate their guests experience to this extent. We’ve been lucky enough to stay in some of Europe's best hotels but I’d go so far to say this was the best experience from a service perspective we’ve ever received. It truly made our stay special and the attention to detail given to us was genuinely outstanding. Thank you very much to the entire team for making our stay so memorable.

Loved every minute of our 3 night stay here.||Staff were exceptionally professional and friendly and went out of their way to make the whole experience enjoyable.||Room was amazing, well it was more than a room, more a suite. The small touches were very special like the short bread and mini bar updated daily for no additional charge.||Dinner was awesome and it took us the first night to realise how flexible the team are in you are able to mix and match which is exactly what we did. All dishes we had were sensational.||Special shout out to Richard in the restaurant who was very knowledgeable regarding the food and drink, especially his knowledge regarding whiskeys.||Thankyou to all the staff, contributed is small and large ways to the whole 3-day stay.||We will be back!

After some gushing media coverage we were somewhat disappointed. The restaurant ambience was more suited to afternoon tea, and despite the restaurant being no more than half full the service was not attentive (how long am I expected to sit with two empty glasses?). As for the food, don't arrive hungry!||However, the hotel looked splendid

Excellent hotel that gets the basics right in so many ways. A wonderful welcome, helpful staff for luggage (thanks Richard!) and a beautiful interior. Stayed for one night and would gladly have stayed for a few nights if our itinerary would have allowed it. Bedrooms are beautifully appointed and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. There’s a wonderful bar area and also a lovely library. Don’t miss the private chapel either…..! The only downside is the main restaurant which is noisy as there is an open (and loud) kitchen - maybe making this glass fronted would keep the interest but dramatically reduce the noise and make for a better experience.

We had a lovely lunch served to us in the drawing room. The staff were very friendly and attentive to my special dietary needs. We felt we were home in a luxurious hotel. We even had our picture taken by a member of staff at the entrance and reception. I asked about accessibility parking it is available with valet service. The weather was cloudy but dry. A great time was had by all.
