This retreat is absolutely stunning in any weather - set well back from the road, it's so peaceful and relaxing, yet so close to amenities if you forget something. The hosts go to the nth degree to make you feel welcome & valued. The kitchen is bigger & better equipped than mine at home! And we had the Shepherd Hut (hard to believe they built it all themselves! 😍) which is deceptively spacious, beautifully styled & even has a wood burner for those cosy, chilled out nights. Every element of everything has been so well thought out - and with all the newly planted trees, extra parking, hot tub & disabled shower facilities it just keeps getting better & better. I will be back for one of your wellbeing retreats! And I can't wait!

Wow, just wow! Cranfield Retreat and glamping is an amazing and tranquil place to stay. Each accommodation and facility has been lovingly crafted and thought through, the attention to detail is exquisite. We stayed in the Mongolian Yurt which was stunning, immaculate and very comfortable. Clare and Henry are very welcoming and friendly and live next door and nothing is too much trouble. If you are wanting to visit the area or live locally and want to get away this place is perfect.

We had an amazing weekend at Cranfield retreat, and already want to come back! The yurt and shepherd hut were both extremely comfy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well kitted out and had everything we needed. The hot tub and bathrooms were spotless, and we loved the outside seating and fire pit. Clare and Henry were lovely, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The retreat site felt private, quiet, and peaceful. Thank you so much Clare and Henry, and see you again for our next trip!

Just returned from a weekend on this wonderful site (a birthday present from my daughters). Claire and Henry are such a lovely couple (and 'Kevin' is adorable!). They couldn't do enough for us. The Yurt was beautiful, beds so comfy with lovely bedding. They have thought of everything, and spotlessly clean. The Retreat, with the lounge and kitchen, was superb. Will definitely be back. Just got home from staying in the Mongolian Yurt. So pretty with lovely quirky touches. Bed super comfy along with great pillows and duvet. Lovely and cozy with the fire inside. Bathroom facilities, extremely short walk from Yurt, were clean and shower powerful and hot. Sunloungers comfy, hot tub bliss. Hostess Claire was just so kind and helpful and just lovely person. Beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend booking. Will definitely be back. Lovely, calm peaceful relaxing environment. Great weekend! Loved it

This place is nothing short of magical. My friend and I stayed in the shepherds hut with our two boys. We loved every second, they were happy playing in the fields and running in and out the hut while my friend and I sat , talked and had a glass of prosecco. The facilities are beautiful with a fully fitted kitchen and living room to share between the two huts, along with two bathrooms. Everything was spotless and fresh. In the field there was a table with sofa chairs, loungers and a hot tub. All of which we used and loved. The views are incredible and we slept so well in the comfortable cosy beds. Neither myself or my son can wait to come back. Thank you for having us and showing our little boys around your beautiful garden.

We had the best stay at Cranfield Retreat. Clare and Henry were such lovely hosts. We had the most relaxing time in the peaceful countryside, and the yurt was beautiful!! Everything was so clean and the bedding was so soft!! We had everything we needed.

Such a fabulous place to host my birthday party with the family! We even got the good weather we ordered. Loads of space for our outdoor games.
Heard our first cuckoo of the season this morning from the shepherd's hut.
The facilities are v clean and of excellent high quality. Everything in the kitchen area that we needed.
Hosts can't be faulted, I would highly recommend.
