Slick and efficient. Taken to Castle Eaton and gentle paddle over 2.5
hours back to Lechlade. Friendly staff. A few trees in the river to avoid but otherwise easy paddling. Fun on a sunny day.

Highly recommended!
We had a great trip downstream by canoe to Kelmscott which was a very gentle 2 hour paddle, with 2 locks to negotiate. It was really tranquil and we saw an abundance of wildlife, mainly birds.
Our booking included entry to Kelmscott Manor which is well worth visiting with many artefacts from William Morris and original artwork by Rossetti. Also a great tea room for delicious refreshments. We were picked up and retuned to Lechlade after a leisurely sunny afternoon.
We were the first β€˜Guinea pigs’ for this special trip run on Fridays, and it all worked like clockwork - Thank you Edith and the team.

Called to book a slot...no hassle and prompt, friendly service. The kayaks we're ready and we were straight on the water. Lovely one hour trip upstream in dual kayaks (keep to the right) and 20 minutes back. All in all, a memorable one hour trip on the Thames seeing swans, mallards and lots of swallows too. Looking forward to returning for a longer trip.

Castle Eaton to Lechlade trip - stunning!. Edith and her team where helpful and friendly. The paddle in kyaks was not to hard or difficult for novices. Wildlife on the river beautiful. In some sections you can sit back and let the current take you. Will definitely be back with the family to do again as we all enjoyed it so much.

We booked inadvance the previous day but despite being on a sunny Saturday, they had plenty of available boats anyway. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We spent 3 hours out on the river, it was a good workout paddling upstream. We will definitely be back.

Really good canoe hire. Good rates. We did about 4 hours downstream. Busy at the start but soon quietened out. The river actually gets quite narrow further back. We also went down the river Coln though just a little as it was blocked with trees further down. Helpful and efficient staff.

Such a great place to hire from, they are really helpful, informative and recommended I hire a 15ft kayak which was perfect.
For half a day I kayaked just under 5 miles up the Thames to Hannington Wick/ Kempsford. I've never seen so many dragonflies and also saw a kingfisher, heron and buzzard.
