Went on the tour with a great tour guide, Jake. Very interesting and would highly recommend. 90 minute tour and get a lot of information on the mine.

We took an informational tour of the mine yesterday (19/6) and it was absolutely fantastic!
Our tour guide (sorry I’ve forgotten his name) was so knowledgeable and really friendly answering any question our group gave him.

It was a great experience and would highly recommend a tour here!

We had the most fantastic experience at Corris mine. Tim was a brilliant tour guide with a great sense of humour as well as a wonderful passion and knowledge of the mine.

As we were the only two on the tour we were encouraged to choose which way we would like to explore within the mine. The tour involved squeezing through passageways, scrambling over rocks as well as an optional climbing up the steps carved into the rock face.

There are many wonderful views as well artifacts throughout the mine left from the miners dating from the 1800s-1900s making it a fascinating, educational and adventurous experience.

Thanks to Tim for keeping track of time for us and making sure we made it out in time for out ferry home. Would definitely return as I feel each tour would offer something new.

Wow ! I have to say one of my favourite visits to Wales. I've been coming for so many years but have been waiting for our younger son to be old enough to take part. The experience from start to finish was exciting, heart racing, adrenaline pumping, and fun. Was with a great group of people and was made extra awesome with our tour and guide Mark. Who made the whole experience one we won't forget . I have to say it was 100 times better than we expected . Would highly recommend.

Me and my partner Laura love Wales and exploring, so we saw this and having done the "PG" version as Tim said with the King Arthur experience we very much looked forward to the full mine adventure. We had a wonderful guide named Tim who was an awesome chap, knew his stuff and definitely a fantastic character with a unique background. It was just me, my partner and Tim, we felt completely easy and safe with him, everything was explained so clearly and very easy to understand. Was catered to our wants and needs and the whole experience felt like it was a personal adventure for just us both. He took the time to show us everything that we could see due to the excessive rain, any questions we had he fully answered and it was a brilliant experience. The size and scale of this mine was unbelievable as well, the history and the preservation of this mine is incredible. Our favourite mine adventure that we have completed out of the ones we have done in Wales. Highly recommend this to anyone with a love of history or even just for great fun, Tim was absolutely brilliant 10/10 and we are most certainly looking to come back again and see the other Chambers!

We pre booked a visit to Corris Mines. The tour was not fully booked out but we were 12 people plus guide.
Before going to the mines you will get wellies (if you didn't bring suitable shoes or wellies your own). I'd suggest to dress like going on a hike, clothes might get wet or dirty; it's cold in the mine, if you get cold easily bring a beanie and gloves. After a short security instruction the guide will bring you deeper into the mines.
Apropos guide, in my eyes he really is the best part: Mark "Mouly" is a funny guy with a very loose tongue. He is able to tell facts as well as he is an entertainer. Mark has no fixed route, he will show you places depending on the questions you ask.

Really excellent tour. Our guide gave us lots of information about the history and geology of the mine. Highly recommended. The tour has limited spaces so advanced booking is advised.

We did the path finder tour today. Our leader, Tim, did a brilliant job! He answered everyone’s questions well and his genuine interest in the mine was obvious from his enthusiasm throughout the tour. We will definitely be returning to do the longer tour and congratulations to Tim for completing your first tour!
