Just returned from a fabulous week at Pixie Cottage It is in a great location with so many places nearby. A traditional cosy Cornish cottage. Lots of little extra touches made all the difference. Handwash, dishwasher tablets, dog bowel and some fresh flowers. Our dog loved the secure garden. Thank you Kathleen for having us.

Well what can I say I booked this cottage for my parent's too come and stay in Cornwall,as I didn't have the room for them too stay. I picked this location as they like too be out and about and like walking. Its also near too the beaches as well as towns and shops if needed. WOW they loved it every thing and more you could ask for. There was 2 adults and 1 child staying but still room for more people. They loved the wood burner as they could sit with a real fire in the evening after having done so much within the beautiful location it sits. Would definitely book again. A big thank you!

Unfortunately we only stayed at Pixie cottage for a small extended weekend whilst visiting family. We wished we could have stayed longer. We had a long drive to reach Pixie cottage but there was Milk in the fridge and tea & coffee waiting for us along with some choccy biscuits - so we could relax before setting out for essentials. It was a really nice touch. The cottage is so homely with fresh flowers on the dining table. It was cosy and warm and slept us 5 comfortably. We also had two small dogs who also settled in and found a warm radiator to sleep next to at night. We are hoping to stay here again in the future as there is so much to explore in the area. The coastal villages nearby (Portreath etc.) are lovely but also there is the Heartlands which is a great park for the kids and the Tehidy Park not to mention the numerous Tin mines. Great location in a lovely area with shops and a pub just 5 - 10 mins walk up the road.

Wonderful place. In amongst the trees, walks on door step. A fantastically central place to explore. Easy to get to main routes. I loved it! Owners were brilliant, helpful and let us have privacy which we loved. Wifi was good. Shops just up road.

Pixie Cottage is a lovely, quaint and characterful cottage with great amenities including a wood burning stove - great for cosy nights in! The master bedroom is large with plenty of storage space and the second bedroom is of ample size, with a zip and link mattress, giving the added option of having the beds as twin singles or king sized. There is also a double sofa bed downstairs perfect for extra guests!

The location of the cottage is ideal for nature lovers, situated in the heart of Illogan woodland valley, with country footpaths right on the doorstep and a short drive away from the beautiful North Cornish Coastal footpath. Tehidy Country Park is just a 5 minute drive away where you can take a walk in the woods and meet some very friendly, furry squirrel friends!

Local amenities include The Robartes Arms pub and a corner shop that easily accessible and within walking distance or a less than 5 minute drive away.

Perfect place for a quiet getaway and some coastal air!

Wonderful well equipped little cottage, dog friendly and child friendly. With a small enclosed garden. Close to beaches and country walks. Lots of amenities within reach from horse riding to surfing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pixie Cottage, it’s in a beautiful location in a pretty little valley. Fantastic cottage, fitted our family of 5 perfectly, all freshly painted, lovely features especially the wood burner which was a delight to come home to, enjoyed BBQ’s in the pretty / sunny garden and kitchen brand new which was GREAT. Location incredible inbetween St. Ives and Newquay. Best beaches: Gwithian Coast, NT Godrevy, Lelant, Crantock, Fistral at Newquay and Portreath. Best pubs Bassett Arms at Portreath, The Victory Inn at Porthtowan, The Miners Arms at Gwithian. Sightseeing: Padstow, St. Ives, St. Michaels Mount, Pendeen - WOW what a coastline! We enjoyed visiting your stained glass studio.
