We did the Poldark Tour in July 2024. We have done many cycle tours in UK before and were delighted that this proved to be the best we had ever done.

Everything was so well organised:
Punctual pick from the station
Good ebikes
Terrific accommodation
Well thought out route selection

The scenery has magnificent, with every day having something different. There was never a dull moment. The challenging gradients were handled well by the ebikes.
We used the RidewithGPS route app and had no problem with navigation.
We are already planning another cycle tour in Cornwall with Lanyon and Cornish Cycle Tours next year.

Four of us from Australia did the five-day Cornwall tour.
The service provided by Lanyon Rowe was excellent. Lanyon was at all times obliging, and the equipment provided to us (including bikes) was excellent. We had some minor misadventures including a broken seat (caused by a frisky wayward little dog on a trail in the woods somewhere) that stalled us for a couple of hours, but a replacement was got to us as soon as possible. The tour route including roads, trails, towns, and accommodation provided us with a great introduction to south Cornwall. We have done various rides in parts of the world, and this was up there with the best in the 'developed' countries. Well done Lanyon.

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the 5 day West Cornwall Bike Tour. Great service by Lanyon with pick up/drop off from the train station and managing the transfer of our luggage. Good selection of locations to stay for the night. Quality of bikes provided was great. Highly recommended.

4.8 really. We had a fabulous 19 days with this company in April 2023. Lanyon was only a phone call away. My husband and I from New Zealand did the Cornwall and Scilly 14 day tour with extra days thrown in, where we wanted to explore more. The accommodation was great and the hosts at all the nights were welcoming and very friendly. This was trip I spent along time planning and Cornwall and Scilly exceeded our expectations. We used e-bikes, because we wanted to enjoy the cycling, without working too hard. These were really appreciated on the steep ups and downs of the east coast, and on the days where the weather was inclement. There was a little issue with the maps and instructions on occasions( as sign posts or buildings had changed), we never got really lost for long (why I gave it the 4.8). I recommend this tour, especially if you want to take time to explore this beautiful part of the world. P.S. the food was amazing everywhere.

We had a really great time on the Poldark tour. Lanyon was very attentive and responsive and made sure that everything was prepared properly. The Ride With GPS app was terrific. To navigate, we didn’t need any of the other materials that were provided. However, your iPhone battery won’t last for more than half a day, so be sure to bring a backup battery pack. Accommodations were outstanding and luggage transfer was flawless. Great Job Cornish Cycle Tours!

We booked the Poldark tour for a party of four and had a wonderful time. Cornish Cycle Tours supplied everything that was needed to enjoy the tour - very good bikes in the first place, but also maps, instructions, and tools. The friendly team was always available for support in case of any problem. They made sure we are OK and reliably transferred our luggage. So we could focus on enjoying the the marvelous outlooks that would unfold behind every corner - we had not expected such a diversity of beautiful landscapes.
The routes were well chosen, in general avoiding traffic or using the sustran cycle network wherever it made sense, and touching many picturesque locations known from the poldark series. Along the way, we could cross off many "must see when in Cornwall" recommendations from our list 🙂 Also all the accomodations were very nice, and so we were looking forward every day to what would come next.
For bicycle tours, especially in remote areas, it is always a good idea to work with a local company, and so we definitely recommend Cornish Cycle Tours for touring Cornwall - five stars well deserved!

Lanyon facilitated a fantastic holiday tour of the south coast of Cornwall. He organised some great places to stay, ported out bag from place to place allowing us to ride without luggage and provided detailed information to allow us to ride the route on back lanes and tracks.
We took advantage of the suggested detours and stayed awhile in some of the villages / towns en route and still had time to explore the overnight stay location when we arrived.
Many of the views are stunning! Cliff top vistas, smugglers coves and picture postcard fishing villages. I took advantage of some fantastic beaches to take a swim and we found some great restaurants along the way too. The Cornish ales and ciders are worth trying as well!
What's not to like!
