Wow! What a stay!||We spent part of a week here in March. Had wanted to be in the country and what a view we had from the Granary! Friendly horse neighbor!||The 1 bedroom Granary had all you need for a short trip and likely a longer trip too. Full kitchen. Had all the cookware and dishes you could need. Nice sized fridge and freezer with an ice tray! The bedroom was so cute and the bed was comfy. Great views and outdoor access from the bedroom as well as the kitchen and living room. Bathroom had a separate shower and tub. Everything worked great, the underfloor heating was nice in the bathroom. It was so quiet and peaceful here. On a clear night the sky is magic.||There are 2 books with info. 1 on local sites and the other book with all the manuals for all the "stuff" in the house. The instructions were very helpful using the washing machine. We had brought our own washing powder along and were glad to get some washing done while we were out touring in the Morgan we rented from just down the way in the village.||Follow the directions she sends you and you will find your way there aok.||I would love to spend a couple of weeks here sometime. Great place to get away from it all while still pretty much having it all.

A fabulous 2nd stay. Every last thing has been thought of in this beautiful barn conversion. ||We loved our stay and we highly recommend a stay at The Granary. |Welcomed with flowers and goodies, we really felt at home. ||In the middle of beautiful countryside and yet within easy reach of so much of Cornwall. |You wont regret staying here.

Home Barn is a superb and spacious cottage for two, set in the beautiful Cornish countryside.|The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of crockery, glasses etc.|The lounge has high quality and comfortable soft furnishings.|We look forward to having many more relaxing holidays at Home Barn.

Absolutely fabulous! So well equipped, and every last thing is thought of. Beautiful views and peace and quiet. Perfectly located to visit all of wonderful Cornwall.

Very well designed but oh dear! The property is at the end of a track, not a tarmac lane, which most people would not drive over except with a Land-rover. Then you find that the heating is off, a new experience. Next is the stairs up to the kitchen area. They are oak but not fixed in accordance with building regulations in as much as there is no continuous handrail and a potential trip at the top. Had the stairs been fitted one tread width further away from the front door these misfits would not have arisen. So unfortunately I can't give a 5 star which it deserves.

The Snug, Lymington Cottage:|With many fond memories of several lovely holidays at The Snug, we returned for a week after 17 years as we have lived overseas. It was just as we remembered it. Picturesque, quiet location. The single story barn (just 2 steps up from kitchen to vaulted ceiling lounge) is well maintained, always very clean, cosy, comfortable with linen, towels and now toiletries provided. Comfortable sofas, bed, and fully equipped. The shower cubicle in the large bathroom a great addition. The welcome tea tray and Cornish biscuits a lovely touch, thank you Julie. ||The beautiful tree ferns by the front door and bedroom window have doubled in size, and owner Johns grounds and gardens have matured and are even more beautiful. |The wildflower meadow in front of the parking bay is lovely to stroll around, with a little archway and perfume from white wisteria. The hawthorn hedgerows in full pink and white bloom whilst we were there. |Wander across the driveway to the shaded riverside walk, where there is a beautiful mix of natural planting and established shrubs. Deep lush green mossy banks like velvet, wildflowers, stunning orchids and established rhododendrons and camellias. The little river flows along beneath a variety of large overhanging trees and my husband spotted a kingfisher. A truly tranquil spot. Beyond the river is the cycle track to Bissoe which goes under the viaduct (not walked this time). |The picnic table in the courtyard still there, and added seats in sunny spots in the gardens to enjoy. |Johns own cottage opposite was adorned with stunning lavender coloured wisteria swaying in the breeze and his gardens and the orchard just as beautiful as we remembered. I brought my art kit again ready for some days of relaxation as there are so many inspirational scenes to draw/paint. ||Unfortunately, aside the beautiful gardens, riverside stroll and Sunday afternoon at pretty Towan Beach at the Roseland (nice new cafe ahead of the beach) our weeks vacation was cut short as we had to return home for a medical emergency with one of our little dogs. |Thank you Julie and John for keeping The Snug a beautiful comfy cottage in its peaceful, pretty natural countryside location. I will be using my photos to paint from! Hope to see you again sometime.

Perfect Cottage in a stunning part of Cornwall.|Home Barn is everything you want and more from a s/c holiday cottage. Beautifully clean and stunning gardens to enjoy whilst sat on the balcony. It’s all the attention to detail that Julie and Alan do so well that makes this cottage so very special. Once again a fabulous holiday and would recommend to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in Cornwall.

Gorgeous cottage with great views Sue to huge glass windows and door. Good bird watching bird of prey kept flying past and the donkeys were great to see. Cottage had everything you would need with lots of extras such as fresh flowers, toiletries, lemon cake etc. Spacious bathroom with huge bath and open shower, not steps.King king size bed ! Lovely soft pillows and duvet. We did get a bit lost a few times initially as it is so tucked away. Would definitely stay there again.
