Hotel is in a good location. Nice area around the Quays, nice walks & everything you need in walking distance. Tram stops nearby so easy to get into the city centre. Hotel itself is a little dated but we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a Club room with a river view. Also it was a birthday trip & a chocolate brownie on a plate with Happy Birthday was in our room which was a nice extra touch. Staff very friendly & helpful, especially Lisa from reception & Elvis in the restaurant. Breakfast was lovely with a nice variety & good hot English breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

We have just enjoyed three nights at this hotel for a birthday trip and we enjoyed it as much as our first stay here a year ago. When booking I did request if possible a room overlooking the quays as it was a birthday stay, we were so surprised when we got into our room and they had also left a handwritten birthday card along with a small cake on a decorated plate. Thank you, that was a lovely touch. Room had a great view again and was quiet. Bed and pillows very comfy. Breakfast was good and this time we also enjoyed a meal at dinner which was nice too. Will definitely stay again.

Fabulous hotel, it's our go to in Manchester. |We were checked in by Yogitha, very professional and tended to our every need. We were then greeted by Faqueer, a member of the bar staff again fantastic member of staff. Finally Roxy who almost runs the day to day ongoing smoothness of the whole operation. Fantastic stay excellent staff. Well done to you all. |Keep it up and see you very soon

For a large hotel chain there is a very personal touch. The rooms have been updated. A nice large tv that was not a smart TV it only had a about 15 channels with no tv guide. I did expect more. For a person working away from home a smart tv is almost essential. For a family holiday understand. |The buffet breakfast was fairly good. However they need not make ALL the bacon so crispy... I understand that being under the heat lamps may dry it a bit BUT it was all crispy right to the bottom. So obviously cooked like that.

Booked as going to see Will Smith at Victoria Warehouse. Used to stay at Copthorne in Dudley/ Merry hill a lot. Great hotel- lovely rooms overlooking Quay. Comfy beds- hairdryer / robe and slippers etc (club room). Breakfast served 6.30- 10 weekdays. Great selection- yoghurt, fruit, cereal, pastries, toast, full hot breakfast. Nice atmosphere in bar- open to 11pm weekdays. Trams close by. Nice canal walks. Staff lovely and all friendly.

Overall a really pleasant stay and fab location. On site free parking available, which is very convenient. The front desk only had one lady when we arrived and it took a long time to check in because of this, which immediately was not a good first impression. A second person was needed. Overall a good stay though.

Room and the hotel is dated but comfortable and clean. Good location, easy transport link. Breakfast was great, range of options available. Staff were replenishing food frequently from what I can see, even close to the breakfast finishing time. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money overall.

Great location for our stay, hotel a little bit dated but in hand to update and upgrade. Breakfast was a disaster, food cold, no hot water nobody turned it on, break was cold and damp I presume from the freezer or fridge. Croissants were gone within a flash, not many staff at 7:30 when opened. Tables to close to coffee and tea machine area, just keep bumping into people sitting down. Eggs hard, bacon stuck together, no toms or sausages left. Yoghurt’s gone, fresh fruit was gone. Staff caught up with people bringing in their own food for breakfast. For me would not have breakfast again waste of money for the 4 of us, had to get a sandwich at the train station. The only good point was the option for coffee or decaf. Great touch for the birthday cake and singing happy birthday when we checked in - Thanks. Lift was a bit of a nightmare with customers not understanding how they work, but great for security, also only being given 1 key card for room was a bit of problem if one person goes down early or stays down late for a drink. , 1 last thing no toilet brush in bathroom, call me old fashion but we all make a mess, so I am keen to clean up any mess and not leave for others.
