Such a lovely relaxing trip… my grandson and I both enjoyed.
We learned about our history up the Tawe River saw wildlife and took pictures of old and new buildings.
The crew are very knowledgeable, everyone should take a trip it’s well worth it.
Good luck with the cleanup of the boat and I’ll be back on board next year.
Thanks again for a lovely trip.! 🤗

I had a booking of 8 people, 3 in wheelchairs, the staff were very very helpful and accomodating, they also helped me pushing the wheelchairs up the ramp after the trip. The boat trip itself was very informative and Gill had a lot of knowledge, it was a great experience and my group really enjoyed themselves. Thank you copper Jack and Thank you Swansea Council for the opportunity.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip up the River Tawe on this historic barge! Informative, humorous & full of interesting facts from Dave our volunteer historian! Yes, Swansea did win the Battle of Trafalgar for Nelson !! Highly recommend for just under 2 hours.

AMAZING experience!! We went for my friends birthday and it was very interesting to hear about all the history behind Swansea. The scenery was also beautiful and the woman telling us the history was funny too! We met Dave and he was such a sweetheart he was genuinely interested in what we had to say and made conversation with us. He even let us read a short story he wrote which, by the way, was beautifully written. I hope he gets to write more published stories in the future and if he's reading this, i hope you get your boat back and go on more adventures!! It's also lovely to know that all of these people were volunteers, so for them to do this unpaid and still show so much enthusiasm shows they truly enjoy doing it. I would highly recommend this to everyone. :))

Fantastic Day Out. The dedication of the volunteers is excellent. The boat cruise up and down the river was magnificent. I ended up buying a new, limited edition Mug.
Well worth the 1.5 hour journey to get there. I never knew about the copper industry in Swansea before. Our guide's knowledge was outstanding. Nothing but a serene water way all the way up the river.
The Mermaid was the best bit.

My partner and I went on the Copper Jack today and had a fantastic experience. Roger, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, engaging, and such a lovely man. The volunteers on board were all very friendly and helpful, which made the trip even more enjoyable.

I’ll definitely be returning and look forward to bringing my mother along next time. Refreshments are available on board at very reasonable prices, which was a welcome bonus. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful afternoon aboard Copper Jack yesterday. The boat trip took us from our moorings at Swansea's marina, next to the Helwick Light vessel, along the river Tawe all the way to the Liberty Stadium. The onboard guide was so knowledgeable and explained Swansea's maritime history and how the area became the centre of copper production during the industrial revolution. Amazing hour and a half and well worth the £15 ticket fee!
