A well equipped wee cottage. Cosy and comfy for a short winter break. Everything we need for a weekend away with friends.

We arrived to find the cottage had not been serviced.
The cottage needs major maintenance work, paint peeling off
In the bathroom. One door could not be opened into wardrobe, no bedroom chairs. Windows very very dirty,
Light bulb in bathroom needs replacing. Etc etc
We would not book through Pittenweem Properties again.

Lovely downstairs area great for our family of 5 adults with range cooker and table for 6, just small courtyard garden out back not fully secure for dog but park 5 minutes walk. Felt the walls leading to upstairs were dirty and bathrooms needed fresh paint and some TLC to windows/ shower.

#128578; Great location, attractive property and good facilities. Nice touches like milk, tea, shortbread, lots of toilets rolls and cleaning supplies.
#128577; Floors were dirty. We are a ‘no shoe’ house but after noticing our white socks were black from the floors we kept our shoes on. We didn’t feel it was right for us to start mopping floors when we’d just arrived and didn’t want to be disrupted by cleaning staff during our short stay.
We are a mega tall family so the upper level was not great for us but to be expected in property of this age.

#128578; The Beds were very comfy, and as a whole, so was the property. The Kitchen sink tap was wobbly but party from that it was hard to criticise the property.
#128577; 'Parking,' it said on the street, but which street? We had to hunt down a parking place down by the Harbour. The Locals put up notices asking you not to park in front of their windows. One of our parties was disabled, and we noticed a 'Disabled' spot yards away. A Man came out shouting that the space was for his wife, although there was nothing to indicate it was 'Private.
