Stayed here for 2 months over summer, fantastic location, great value for short term accommodation. Thank you so much to the entire short lets team Esther, Jade, Lindsey, Marta, Charlie, Sarah, Jake who helped with the booking process and were fantastic throughout. The housekeeping manager for the property Ania also was amazing, and the housekeepers who come in to clean the communal spaces did a fantastic job but I didn’t catch any names. Thanks so much CSL, a great experience!

Own private room with wardrobe, bed, sink, kettle, furniture. Communal areas of kitchen, bathroom, corridors and a reading room are regularly cleaned and maintained by staff e.g. Tina and Kaja. Location of Clifton is a cultural area with nearby shops including Sainsburys, Boots, Waitrose. Only a short journey to city centre and nearby are the other South West of England resorts. Front office team, such as Marta, ensure secure bookings.

A great place to stay!
This property is located just a 10–15 minute walk from the city center, making it very convenient. The stay was hassle-free, no landlord disturbances and no issues with late check-in. Overall, it’s a comfortable and pleasant place in a nice location.
There's a good pub with food located just behind the house — a great spot for a couple or singles.

First of all, the room I was given looked "nothing" like the photos on Booking.com. It was basically unfurnished, smelled like mould and dust, and was clearly not cleaned at all. As soon as I stepped in, my eyes started watering, I was sneezing non-stop, and my skin began to itch — clearly a health hazard.||||When I complained, instead of properly resolving the issue, I was told to go to a completely different address. I had to walk 10 minutes just to get there, dragging my luggage like a fool. After finally reaching that location, I received yet "another" room number and access code. I wasted over an hour trying to figure out where I was even supposed to stay. After a long trip from Manchester, this was an absolutely ridiculous situation to be put in.||||And no surprise, the second room wasn’t any better. It was filthy. There were hairs in the sink, the curtains were torn, and the toilet was disgusting. On top of that, I genuinely suspect the place has bed bugs — I woke up itching all over and now I have bites on my body. That is completely unacceptable and borderline dangerous.||||I was supposed to check out tomorrow at 10 AM, but I left today at 4 PM because I couldn’t take another minute. My skin is still irritated and I’m beyond disgusted.||||This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had. I demand a refund, and I suggest someone investigate the condition of that property because what I went through should "not" be happening to paying guests.

Avoid renting a room here unless you want your food, post, parcels and kitchen items stolen. My daughter has lived there for 4 months and asked me to leave this review as she does not have a google account. Numerous people come and go from these short lets and people steal and then Clifton Short Let’s don’t even care. There is no vetting of tenants and the cleaners are also stealing and so are the tenants including clearly addressed post and parcels delivered by couriers into the hallway, brand new unused food stolen from the kitchen, the fridge and cupboards even though it’s labelled with a name, kitchen items taken and so on including on one occasion a whole weeks worth of food shopping. So far it totals a £150 loss. No one at Clifton Short Let’s cares. I advise you to stay somewhere else.
