What a great place for celebrating new years and my friends birthday / my 30th birthday! We had such an amazing time and the hosts were very informative and helpful. Not only that but the hosts welcomed us with some bubbles and a cake and biscuits.
The house is super spacious with everything you need to have a fun time, with beautiful views of the ocean. The hot tub was also great! We were extremely happy with the house it exceeded our expectations), it was comfortable with a good size living area for watching movies and kitchen for cooking / dining. We felt right at home for 3 nights - we couldn't recommend this house more.

Actually we were 3 generations of one family celebrating a special anniversary. We really loved the accommodation which was very spacious and are so pleased we decided to book it. The hot tub/jacuzzi was appreciated by all. The house was very well equipped and it was great to have so many en-suite bathrooms for 12 people!

What a beautiful house, and lovely hosts!! We had a big family celebration weekend at Cliffhanger and it was simply wonderful. The house itself was perfect. The rooms were gorgeous and the sea view was fabulous. We were greeted by Katie, a bottle of fine bubbles and a great cake - what a great start to the weekend:)! All that the listing says about the house is true, and walks along the promenade in either direction were fab too. Highly recommended.

We spent a sunny and hot week at the Cliffhanger in late July 2024, with 8 adults and 4 small children. Overall it was a fantastic experience - the house is very spacious, has been renovated to a high standard, features carefully curated art pieces and is well located on a cliff - both in terms of expansive sea views and access to the beach, shops and restaurants. The hosts Katie and Max were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our queries and any small issues we encountered during our stay were handled swiftly. All in all, we would highly recommend the Cliffhanger. Thank you Katie and Max and hope we can return one day! 🙂

We stayed at Cliffhanger as a group of 6 schoolfriends, celebrating our 50th year. It's not an easy find, finding somewhere which suits everyone, but I think we absolutely nailed it!
I'll never forget arriving at the house and feeling so happy about how gorgeous it was. I've stayed in some nice places...and Cliffhanger felt special.
A bedroom for each and bathroom too. What's not to love?
The decking area is ample and hot tub nicely positioned. Views of the sea and waking up to the sound of waves was immense.
We cooked a couple of meals (fine for a night or two) and had the best fish and chips ever. Importantly there was ample cooler space for wine!
The owners live next door but we never felt that this was a problem, or imposing, it was actually helpful for a couple of tiny things which we needed help with. They are lovely.💕
Thank you for the cake and bits left for us upon arrival. The cake was devoured throughout the weekend. We would wholly recommend 🧡 and have been asked by friends about the magnificent place we stayed, when showing them pictures.

I stayed at Cliffhanger with 10 of my family to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house is beautiful - Katie and Max were so helpful and had thought of everything! The bubbles and cake on arrival was so thoughtful. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be back

We stayed at cliffhanger house for my 30th
And when I say it was the BEST WEEKEND I mean it.

Katie and max are rockstars who have thought of EVERYTHING.

Beautiful coffee machines for fresh cup in the morning, decorations to make the place feel “homey”, and amazing JBL Bluetooth speaker that’s loud enough for a good music party vibe. And of COURSE that huge hot tub.

There were a couple accidents with red wine and some of the group were nervous but let Katie and max know and they were incredibly understanding that accidents happen.

Cannot recommend the experience enough and will be letting everyone who asks know to go there ASAP

Had an amazing weekend celebrating a 30th birthday here. The place is amazing and the views stunning. Hot tub doesn't hurt either! Would 100% book again.
