We had an absolutely fantastic trip with nice classic cars. Ben is relaxed and incredibly good at what he does. We drove through beautiful scenery and it was a great experience. Highly recommended.

Done as a birthday experience and what’s a day. Ben was pleasant and very relaxed. We had a structure for the day but we weren’t Tom constrained. Had plenty of time in each car with a great explanation on what they were and what the quirks were and off we went. Highly recommend!

Decided to book this last minute for my partners birthday and it was absolutely Awesome!!! We booked an half a day tour and there we some slight hiccups with the cars (to be expected as they are classic cars) so we got to spend extra time in the cars and it never felt like a time limit Ben was fair and even with the slight delays he made sure we got our money's worth.

100% money's worth especially on a summer's day. Loved the MGB

I'm not normally given to hyperbole but this was a five-star fantastic day. All four cars - Frog Eye, MGB, TR6 & Morgan - were ones I was very curious to drive. All were in beautiful condition and drove very well. The tour was fascinating in itself, led by Ben who is an automotive engineer and a relaxed and informative host. We got lucky with a sunny day in mid-September and the Peak District looked & felt fantastic. For any older petrol head this is the best day out they are ever likely to experience.

Fantastic experience driving some amazing classic cars. The routes and scenery were fantastic with regular stops at some lovely locations.

Ben is clearly knowledgeable about his cars and his passion shows.

We were able to do a lot more driving than expected and is definitely worth more than the price charged which is relatively cheap for a driving experience, although we both got the classic car bug so it could turn into an expensive experience! Better go and make some room in the garage.

This is a really awesome experience as a driver or passenger, enthusiast or admirer. It was the perfect day weather wise. 100% recommend doing this if you are remotely inclined. We did a half day, mid week. Old cars aren't scary or hard to drive so don't be put off, you'll trade in your SUV the same day I promise!!!

The routes are really well chosen and it's easy to keep pace with a good mix of driving time and breaks. Comms are via walkie talkie. Ben is very relaxed and knowledgeable and helps you settle into each car, the perfect guide.

Worst part, changing cars when you have a favourite and also having to give the keys back at the end of the day. Must be even worse on a full day!

It would be remiss of me to not add a minor critique and feedback for Classic Car Adventures on two points - from a customer's point of view.

First from our side was no confirmation email on booking, however I'll concede that may be because we agreed a date over email which was beyond what was bookable on the website. What was a bit nerve wracking was the lack of a 'details for the day' style email a couple of days before the experience. We were a bit panicked the day before when we realised we hadn't received anything so left voicemails and texts etc. Got an answer in the end but could of done without the stress. We conversed with another couple with a similar experience who ended up going to the lockup location rather than the meeting place (pictured) as they didn't know.

The other point is really nitpicky but was about catering for novice/first time classic drivers. This concerned one of the cars having a lumpy idle which also made for a tricky restart when warm and chance of stalling at junctions - something I witnessed another couple struggle with. Whilst I was able to manage the issue personally and didn't detract from my drive, I'd be concerned it might lessen someone else's experience and knock their confidence on the other vehicles. I'm sure it was a temp issue that's resolved by now but wanted to feedback nonetheless.

Would I do it again, in a heartbeat and probably a full day too. It was glorious.

Fantastic tour! We had friends visiting from the US and this was a great way to show them the Peaks District. Ben is friendly and knowledgeable. We took the MG A and the TR6 for the four hour tour and had a blast. If you like classic English roadsters, this is the tour for you.
