We LOVED using these boats in London. This was our preferred mode of transportation. The lines moved pretty quickly, it just depends on how early you make it there. And how late in the day it is (sometimes they would be behind schedule and have to leave early) The only negative was that the experience varied every time. Sometimes there would be a tour, and sometimes not. Overall would recommend, though. A great way to see the city.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. We did the jazz dinner cruise on a Saturday evening. The cruise set out at about sunset for Greenwich and came back into London to see the beautiful night skyline. The entertainment was top-notch and the food was better than we had at other places around London. Overall, a great experience, if a bit pricey, but well worth.

We had a fabulous time aboard City Cruises.
The skies may have been grey but not a drop of rain fell.
We sat upstairs and did the short trip from London Tower to Westminster and back again.
Beverages on board included a great selection including bubbly, which my sister was highly delighted with.
The staff were extremely friendly and the guide on board had many a tale to tell about locations that we passed.
We did not bother to download the commentary which was available in several languages.
Fun was had by all in our party of three...

Lovely cruise down to Greenwich. Great live commentary, really useful full of facts, but also funny. Weather was lovely which also helped.

Lots of fun. Your usual city cruise.

Whether or not you get live commentary depends on the captain. Ours said the company only offers an app you can download but that when he was there he did commentary, which is always more fun - no one ever downloads the app and you miss so much.

Good amenities on the boat including hot chocolate with Bailey's, yum.

Only negative, and reason they lost stars, is that we had to go 3 times before catching a cruise that had not been cancelled. We were told "boats get mechanical issues often".

We booked a VIP package for a Thames Dinner Cruise with City Cruises and had a lovely evening.

When you board at Westminster Millenium Pier you show the QR code on your ticket and we were then ushered to a separate waiting area reserved for VIP customers. We had priority boarding and were seated right at the front of the boat so had wonderful views of all the sights.

The food was good but not exceptional, however; we weren’t expecting fine dining as there’s only so much you can do when feeding a couple of hundred people on a boat!

Staff were friendly and there was even a singer on board who was great. Her commentary was lovely too.

The top deck was great as you could take pictures of the sights with uninterrupted views. When inside the boat you were slightly restricted due to the curvature of the boat windows and glare from the internal lights.

There’s lots of drinks packages available and staff are pretty quick to serve them. The boat docks to load / unload food for the different courses whilst you’re dining so this was an interesting way of dealing with a lack of full kitchen on board the boat.

All in all, it was a lovely evening that we really enjoyed. Lots of fun- just a shame about one very drunk passenger who was being sick in the men’s toilets and had to be ushered around the boat by his buddies!

It was a good evening though and a great way to see the sights of London.

Visited today 19th August with my son. I made a special request about being visually impaired and my son whom is 7 years of age wanting a top deck spot even if it meant waiting for the next cruise. The boarding staff couldn't care less and just pointed where I would need to board. As a visually impaired person, the signs are confusing and unclear, creating further anxiety as I have to function like the majority that have 2 eyes when this is just not the case. The cruise itself was alright. Some woman sat next to me and decided to squash me. I told her to give me space and thankfully they moved. What's this thing about tipping the captain? I don't get it. I'm paying for a cruise at a reasonable price but even so when there are other companies selling them at cheaper prices, I still chose you. Now I mean no disrespect but surely he makes enough money through working at such a company where the prices for a cruise are at a higher rate than competitors. You allow too many folks on which isn't comfortable. Please sort this issue out. I'm a young mother so I assume people think I could be with my brother, but come on. We're not chickens. We need space
