Shame I can't give zero stars, what a joke of a post office. I walked into the post office to see one person being served in the queue and thought great quick in and out, and how wrong was I............
You see due to them being short staffed during the busy period of lunchtime I was told by a quite rude Lizzy to wait while the people in the shop who arrived after me got served before me. 30 mins of being completely ignored just to send one package I even had a qr code for............ Disgraceful.

Get some more staff, or get your priorities right post office or shop you clearly can't do both.

I went on post office church laneon Wednesday, @ 8:30Am. Lady on counter told me it's closed now, opened at 09:00Am today, otherwise it's daily open at same time of store opens. Moreover he explained me very rudely and try to told there is board which mention the time of post office opened at wednesday 09:00 Am but I checked all around there is not mentioned any timing. After 10-15 min, she called her manager, she comes out and accepted my letter without any word. I really disappointed with the behaviour of this lady and service of post office church lane Road. I give them 0 ratings, but there is no options for that way I give them 1 ⭐.

Inaccurate times for post office or just laziness? They served another customer with a letter but told me it was closed (at 5pm) when they saw my parcel... go to Avon Drive post office instead, much nicer service there.

How can someone be so rude to their customers and still be in a job? This is the only time we have been to this post office on Church Lane, and it will be the last, and as the saying goes "a happy customer tells their friends and family, an unhappy customer tells the world". A lot of people are going to hear how shockingly rude the lady at Church Road post office is. If you can, go elsewhere, like Hookhams Lane, Goldington Road or next to Putnoe library.

Opening times for the post office are incorrect. 8am to 8pm and they flatly refuse to accept any responsibility.

Honestly just avoid this post office. Went over today around 12.20pm. The woman told me it was closed. So I asked when it was back open, and the woman said tomorrow, and said she was going home now. Yet on the post office website it is advertised as open 7.00am-10.00pm. The woman was really rude, and is always seemingly in a bad mood anytime I go over there. There were at least 2 other members of staff in the shop today including 1 helping her close the post office. It's pretty much pointless having the post office there at this point it's so unreliable and even when it is open it seems you're creating such a huge problem for just asking the staff to post a letter or parcel.

Went to drop of a parcel - only one person serving on the normal shop customers till. Eventually served by "Angie" only to be told that she couldn't take it in for the next half an hour ( turned out they were doing a till check) . Asked if they could take it in & scan it in half an hour only to be told NO. No apology.
Came back later, same person behind till and again i was told that they cant take it in as system says invalid entry. I explained that I was here before and all she had to do was take it in an scan it when she can . I can't take it in she kept saying so I chucked it over the counter and it landed in the sack for the post. She told me to leave and I asked for my parcel back to which she said no. Angies husband came in to the store and started arguing with me, The duty manger, Suzie, couldn't be bothered. Even she would not give me the parcel back. I Had to call the police to get back.

The post office is never a quick service, with only one person being trained to do the post office. Often end up waiting 5-15 minutes for someone.
